I don't remember this at all, but that may be because I assumed he was lying. I feel like Little Finger genuinely cares (cared) about Catlyn and Sansa, even if it is probably in a selfish/possessive sort of way. I think he wants Sansa to marry him because of his feelings for her mother and her and because marrying within the Tully family is a sign of his success as he measured it in childhood.[/quote]

No one knows what Littlefinger will do until he does it.  He told Ned he would get the Gold Cloaks for him way back when but ended up siding with Cersei.  Cersei's power (appears at least) on the wane, he may switch allegiances.[/quote]

Agree - LF is such a wild card. He manipulates and is pretty much 2-faced in terms of alliances. He poisoned Joffrey, but let Sansa take the blame, but then creates himself to be her ally, but then sends her off to marry Ramsey, and the rest of the convoluted list goes on.[/quote]

The whole story started based on act of Littlefinger -- him having Jon Arryn murdered, causing the King to go to Winterfell, having Ned go to Kings Landing, etc.  [/quote]
