| one of the worst shows on tv, it should have been classed as late night porno garbage but people look it serious like modern art, perhaps culturally changed USA into a fentanyl zombie culture |

I was hooked after 30 seconds, and I normally don’t like violent shows or shows about drugs. I was hiding out in the bathroom trying to escape my family to binge it.
Best show ever, imo. But people are different. |
| Also hate it. Also watched maybe 5 episodes and could not go any further. And I tried, twice. Started again from the beginning years later, still could not go any further. |
| It gave me nightmares. No thanks. |
Why porno? |
Best show ever in the opinions of many. Top ten of all time according to probably more than 80% of cultural critics. People may not enjoy it but those saying it’s not art are juvenile. |
| It’s a slow start. It took me until about episode 6 but then I was hooked. I’ve rewatched it and Better Call Saul was excellent too. Two of the best shows ever on tv. I’m a woman but don’t generally like the female favorites like Bridgerton , Grey’s Anatomy, and Gilmore Girls. |
| I didn't like it until I watched a 2 hr "supercut" on YouTube that summarized the first 3 or 4 seasons. |
PP can't understand cause and effect, and judges without looking or thinking, and all 'bad" thing are the same thing. |
Yes, this. Took me a while to get engaged and then I got hooked by end of Season 1. I never got into Better Call Saul. It just didn't do it for me. Can't really explain why. |
| I feel this way about Yellowstone. I cannot watch it. |

You never know what shows you're going to respond to. Everyone talks about The Wire as the best show ever. I gave it three seasons and gave up. Didn't move me. Felt like the show runners settled on a mood and just kept it there. Which was interesting for a little while but then became tedious.
What's so cool about Breaking Bad are the character arcs of Walter, Jesse, Skyler, and Hank. Plus some really good bad guys. The dude that played Todd does psychopath really well. Over - what, five seasons? - it became this Shakespearean drama. I found it riveting. Satisfying ending so good closure. It really is one of the best written shows out there. And the casting was great. It might be a slow start, but if you binge it and watch as the story lines really get rolling, you'll probably get hooked somewhere in season two. |
| Woman here. BB is my all time favorite tv show. When I first watched it, I canceled plans and pushed deadlines just to watch it all. I never binge watch tv like that. I’ve watched it again and still love it. I also loved the Wire, the American, Better Call Saul and Mad Men. |
| I loved BB, but have started Better Call Saul twice and still don't really like it. Not sure why I'm having such different reactions to similar shows. |
| I really liked it at the time but now when I look back I think I wish I got those hours back. A bleak and depressing show. Not sure why a pp called it “comedic”. I loved the visuals tho. |
