As a teacher I wouldn’t mind this... |
| The issue with many teachers is not coronavirus. It's that they hate their jobs. Coronavirus is just the cover. |
uh my school would lose 95% of teachers and staff

hard to believe half the teachers have "disabilities"- unless they can provide a written medical exemption, they should be forced to return. they had their chances to be vaccinated. Its laziness pure and simple. |

The incompetent folks all returned. And it shows. —MCPS teacher |
Isn’t that how they got their ADA exemption? |
It appears some people believe disabilities are not common. |
Is this FOIAable? |
| At our school teachers with kids were allowed to stay home for the 4th quarter. Was that the norm across the district? |
Otherwise known as “I make grand proclamations and pretend my personal experience is universal.” LOL. Nope. |
ADAs of both types are granted for the school year and will not be changed until the fall. Good try, though! I hope your post on a mommy message board made you feel important and empowered for just a fleeting moment.

I have two toddlers and have been back in person since January. |
Yes, we know, dear. You people have shrieked hysterically and made it ABUNDANTLY clear that you’d rather a totally unqualified non-teacher sub warehouse your kids for you than an experienced, qualified teacher remotely, just as long as you get those sweet, sweet buildings. It’s completely idiotic, but we have heard you, over and over as nauseum. Message received. You can stop wasting your time on DCUM repeating it over and over and use this time (the time you claim you don’t have) to help your kids with DL. |
| Man I hope all you public school parents learned your lesson. You think you’re the client but in reality you’re a step above an inmate. |
