PK3 teachers at JOW are amazing!

Yes!!! Especially Ms. Gnau!

#24 waitlist at Washington Latin (our first pick)
Latin seems like a better fit but wondering how likely we are to get in with that number. Thoughts?
Take the bird in the hand?

Our rising 5th grader had very similar results (slightly better Latin waitlist number). My thought is to enroll in Basis for now. Basis would be an easier commute for us coming from the Hill.

#259 - Lamb, Kingsbury
#2 - Powell (IB)
#153 - DCB

Also WL at a few others past hope.

Matched at Dorothy Height, which we were impressed by at Open Houses for PK3, and is close. I'll keep a very very slim hope for Powell.

Parent of a kid who did PK3 at Height. It has phenomenal PK3 teachers so really nothing to worry about. That being said, you’ll probably get into Powell.

Cleveland elementary (dual language )-31

Lee Montessori PCS - Brookland- 138

(LAMB)- Kingsbury- 265

This is my first time doing this.. so what does this mean ?? I have closer chances into getting into global ?? How is that area no offense.

You have a chance of getting into Latin with that number.

18 on the list for Prek-4 at Shepard, no chance in hell, right?

Either way, feeling happy!

My kiddo went to Cleveland for prek3 and prek4 - both sets of teachers and assistants are phenomenal. If you have Ms. Dominguez next year, consider yourself very blessed! And bonus, the new playground is amazing!

You won't get in at Latin. I know it seems like you might, but you won't. Take the bird in the hand and forget about latin. (If for some reason you do get in, they will let you know.)

No you don't. We had a lower number last year - it only went higher.

In normal times, there is a Latin bus from the Hill

You should consider sela. It’s an awesome school

Yep. It was our first choice.

What was your original #? Curious because it looks like made 24 offers by August.

I bet this is a weird year for waitlists though.
