Then perhaps I’d suggest that you be part of the ones doing the rounding-up this time, instead of being rounded-up. Might work out better for you in the long run. |
I’d love to see a mofo trying to steal from me. I have automated guns that operate via motion-sensor. My kids can also practice target shooting with live objects. |

Trump is trying to fan the flames and stir up divisive rhetoric to remain relevant when he relocates to FL and launches his new media platform. Will there be civil unrest? Perhaps in pockets of the country. There might be isolated incidents. But we will not have mass civil unrest, and we certainly won’t have a civil war.
Posts from privileged people planning an escape that requires a new lake house, country home, or condo at the beach are ridiculous on multiple levels. DC has had protests before. My office is downtown and our building has been smashed before. But people don’t tend to live where the worst protests happen. If you do, then have a plan to get to another part of the city or the burbs. But, contrary to popular dcum belief, you don’t *need* to buy a lake house. |

Right wing domestic terrorism, yes. Already happening. Civil war, no. It took half the country seceding to prompt the last Civil War. This time it's gonna take a lot more than boogaloo idiots trying to own the libs. |
The media does not get bashed enough. Seriously. Every single article about political issues magnifies conflict and doubt, no matter how trivial. Every single article about government highlights incompetence and dysfunction, giving the impression that nothing the government ever does is good or honest. The media thinks being adversarial is the same has having ethics, but all it does is amp up anger and anxiety in a society with way too much of both. The worst by far is talk radio, Fox, OANN, Newsmax, etc., but this absolutely also goes for mainstream centrist and left-leaning outlets. And it's not just news media. Popular culture may be worse. Nonstop movies and video games about mass killings. John Wick is a great example - a man who kills dozens (hundreds?) of people over a dog. And this is celebrated. Which values do our entertainment promote? The media holds massive power over the mood of the country, but prioritizes clicks. And outrage gets clicks. |
Psychopath. |
As soon as you used their term “mofo” we all knew you were making things up. What are you, Fred Sanford? |
Lamont, you big dummy. |
This. The game has always been to radicalize and terrorize. Happens everywhere, including here, and he’s escalating it. |
The difference between you and me? I don't want anyone rounded up unless they have committed an actual crime. |
Problem: You will not turn the police on the people. There's a sheriff in VA who said he will deputize anyone who wants to keep their guns. Many more will follow his lead. You also will never turn the military on the people, and if you try to create your own military, good luck with that. Anytime you got a Venezuela situation, the people trusted the government and gave up their weapons willingly. That's not going to happen here in the US. Ever. Know those memes being passed around by hunters saying that they will sit in trees for days waiting for a deer? They are only half-kidding |
It's "psychopath" like these that saved the nation in the past and will save it again. |
| I don’t need no civil war. It feeds the rich while it buries the poor. |
| It will be the poor who go out to fight. Among BLM, KKK-like, or antifa, who will do mire damage to ordinary people’s life, home, or property? |
The Tim McVeigh types. |
