DCE Orange 25 is a B team. They have not played NL Blue or Madlax Capital.
Re-check your scores.... DCE Orange probably outplayed NL Red or Madlax DMV. |
| DCE Orange is a B team playing other B teams. Madlax 2025 top team scrimmaged DCE top team 2 weeks and it was a slaughter 12-2. Good for developmental players on DCE orange to get reps and get better against similar developmental players on other club teams. But blowing horn about it is a bit much especially in the Fall. |
They have some solid players but overall play like a B team with a great opportunity to improve over the coming year. |

NL Blue 25 beat DCE Black 25 6-2 at a “tournament” last weekend. Strong chance they meet again at a tournament this weekend in bracket play.
It’s true that DCE Orange has beaten NL Red at least two times this fall. |
| Yeah, other than the very good DCE 2021 and 2022 teams, both Madlax and NL are better at every age group all the way down (with the exception of NL 2026). |
| Correct NL 2026 won’t be strong until possibly next year when they take all of the 2025 reclassss. That is exactly why their Blue 2025 team is strong now. Holdback city. |
| DCE will start pulling in the better players as they get closer to 9th and 10th grade. That’s crunch time for college recruiting and no team in area does it better. Wayne knows! |

Whiners like this are going to freak out when their kid gets to high school and has to play against {gasps! clutches pearls!} kids who are older. Wonder what your excuse will be then? If your kid can't handle playing kids who are 6-12 months older now, prepare to watch a lot of JV lacrosse. |
| The prior post sounds more like an observation than whining. The holdback parents are sometime a bit over eager to call everybody else whiners. And by the way, if your son needs an age advantage in order to be successful on the field, you should buy a season pass for JV games yourself. |

Someone with a kid on DCE Orange is a little sensitive about playing JV. Just an observation. |
| So funny a dce player/parent is crying holdback when over 20 of their 21's fall into the holdback category. |
True. |
This is just not true. Parent of a child on the team. We have one kid who came through Mater Dei and he is way old, but he is an outlier. In fact, over half the team was in public school until High School age. You also have 10 of the 22 boys have played together since Elementary school age, when it was age based (not grade). Grade based only became the norm in about 2014 or 15 I think. Get over it. The DCE 21 team is the best team this area has seen in a long long time cause they are both talented, and have played together since elementary school. Take your shots somewhere else. |
This is just not true. Parent of a child on the team and my son along with seven of his teammates repeated prior to middle school. |
| Regardless of whether one kid or eight kids on the 21 team reclassed, they are arguably the best team in the country and there isn’t a rule against reclassing. |
