Can we all at least agree that DCE is crushing it with 2022 commits?!?!?

Yes, but struggling terribly in the ages below that.
NL 23/Madlax 23 and down would beat every single DCE BLC team at their age.

BLC 2026 added a professional coaching staff and recruited a bunch of new players. They have had a run of injuries and are not playing to their potential in fall HoCo. But they would say that they are even with MadLax and ahead of NextLevel in this age group.

Is 2026 Blue playing VLC 2025 tomorrow?
Anonymous
I highly doubt it. Why would two teams in different age divisions play an exhibition game on a Saturday, when both teams have two HoCo games the next morning, and BLC is banged up with injuries?

It's Fall Ball, so I'm not sure it counts for much, but I just watched 23 DCE Orange beat a good NL team (NL seems to blend years so it is hard to say the NL team was a true 23 team. I think they had a mix of 21/22/23. I think the team was also a mix of NL's red and blue squads.

Suffice to say, they are both strong programs.

B'More lax classic schedule is out. There's a 2022 NL Blue and 2022 NL Cadets, what's the difference? The latter only play on Saturday.

The Cadets is essentially the St Johns team

DCE 25 Orange has beaten NL (and every single other team this fall) three times the last several weeks. Not even close. DCE 25 has not lost a game since formation, and has the strongest team up and down in the class. Madlax and NL are not even close at this age group. Strongest offense in the group with huge advantage in midfielders who dominate on both sides of the field.

I don't have a son in 2025 so I don't pay close attention, but I thought MadLax was in the top 2-3 nationally in this class, so I assumed they would be the best in the DMV. Is the DCE person just blowing smoke, or are DCE and NL really equal to or better than MadLax?

And if so, does this mean all three are near the top nationally?

So DCE Orange 25 beat NL Blue - is that what you are saying? You're aware the Madlax 25 Capital is ranked #1 in the country right? Or are you saying it's the best B team - which is still fine and great but not the smack you seem to talking.
