They're not. We're beyond that time frame. We accepted our offer almost a full week ago. But, as I said, we are neither the red nor white team. |
Lol. Maybe. But as someone who was looking to make a lateral move for my DC I can say they had their act together trying to bring in new players during Covid. Easy info form to fill out and the coaches quickly reached out. Wouldn’t be surprised if they had a lot of interest |
As a new family, I agree, it was an easy process. Although, I didn’t submit video for my older DD, was I supposed to? It didn’t even cross my mind. Was that a mistake? |
Aw man. One of my son's friends was applying from outside the club, and he hasn't heard anything yet. I guess that's not a good sign. He didn't have video. He mostly played another sport previously and was looking to transition. Very athletic kid, though. |
I don’t think they are done with the older boys (05-03) offers yet...at least it sounds that way from PPs. |
Not a mistake at all. Just an aid in assessment. |
Email or just give them a call and discuss (don't be shy ). It is late spring/early summer, a good time to do it. Plus, all clubs are going through an unusual tryout process, I'm sure front offices everywhere are expecting extra questions and follow-up.

I'll tell his dad to. We already accepted my son's spot - same team as last time like most everybody else.
|
Personally, reach out to them and see what they have for other teams. If your child is athletic as you say, trust their system at developing great players who can play the game. I recommend don’t go to a port club that doesn’t do very well just so you can get on the top team |
I think the evidence has been clear over the past year, don’t trust Alexandria to do anything right or above board. Run before you squander your cash... |
It's legit not for my child. He's not super athletic, although he's moderately so. I just want his friend to join him in ASA. They've played together in pickup games for fun for years. |
Yeah just hit them up |
| I'm pretty sad. My son is on a black team, so not a top player. I've talked to other parents on our team, and people have been sitting on their offers and neither declining nor accepting. I wish people would act so that we can have a season. My son loves the team and loves soccer, even though he's just decent at it. |
i am sorry to hear that. if you have accepted, i bet they will still take your son. just about every club will have players not returning, granted some much more than others. bigger clubs will be able to sustain a dent, smaller clubs won't. sadly, he probably won't be returning to his entire team but he will still be playing at least. |
Thank you, fingers crossed for him. |
