They fundraise off their broad community based program -- feels to me like they fundraise off the backs of the poor people to pay their senior team ridiculous salaries (higher than most other clubs in the region). I wouldn't want to be part of that.

Yes everyone is aware of this. Its been a topick widely known and beaten into the ground. The Board decides his salary. Get over it and move on with your life. If you wouldnt want to be a part of it then I respect that and move on. Dont be a part of it. Some of us have determined that Park has turned this club around and his value is high to the club. It is a much stronger club today then it was when he arrived. I'm not saying he should get 300+ i'm simply saying he has done a good job and unlike you I want to be a part of it.

So move on, stop whining about someones salary and take action on how you feel.

The board is hiding something. You should inquire...

nothing being hidden- 400k for a director and his assistant- magnitudes higher than any other non-profit club in the area. It's not hidden though

Would you mind posting your FOIA requests/inquiries made (redacted of all personal information of course)? Or even just the text of emails and/or complaints you've sent? Not that you need to have done these actions to have a credible argument, but it surely becomes more sincere when you've invested some form of capital.

since when are private charities subject to FOIA? their numbers are public for anyone to see and published multiple places https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/540902413

FWIW the Board was asked last Fall about these concerns and they never addressed them. Not sure how much confidence one can have in a ‘charitable’ organization if they just flat out ignore their customer base.

It's not a charity. It's a non-profit.

Has anyone heard from ASA regarding the older age groups? I know of several players wanting to make the switch.
