I thought I saw ST James was going to do year round futsal but I suspect games would still be winter/summer. |
| We got our offer for the blue team yesterday. |
What age groups? I was under the impression that offers weren't going out until mid-June, but I see lots of people posting about receiving offers. |
Rising U12. We are returning, not new, to Alexandria. |
|
Offers have started going out. Some age groups are still racking and stacking, especially non-Red teams.
Expansion year teams (U11, U13) might take a bit longer as there is more player movement. I'd imagine most offers would be made by mid June for the larger age groups. |
| We got our offer last week. U12 red, boys |
No longer a youth soccer parent--I recommend taking it. DS played against U18 Alexandria last season (we're from Maryland) and we can see the end result of Alexandria. It's legit. |
Yeah, we're a returning Alexandria family. I have a kid in one of the high school age groups. We haven't heard anything, and we are sitting on another offer. I'd rather we stay, but would prefer to move up to red due to very uneven commitment levels. |
That is difficult. DS Lmvsc in HS age groups and we're leaving as well--commitment, competitiveness, and just not enough players. |
Yes, definitely taking it, for several reasons. Thanks! |
High school-aged Boy? Did you look to another club solely due to the white team’s lack of commitment? |
LOL - not subtle |
We had the same problem with white teams for our kids—lack of commitment, behavior issues in practice, lack of respect, etc. You get about 50% team commitment tops. It’s very frustrating for the kids that want to be there and are giving 110%. Commitment really drops after red. We aren’t planning to take any lower team offer. |

There is likely not going to be a Fall season for any Club. We keep that in perspective. I see no reason to commit to a team you are not happy with.
Wait until Clubs hold actual tryouts again in a year. Players will all look very different by then. Our plan is to just individually train. I paid $1500 March-June for Zoom. |
Evidence of your prediction sucks |
