FCV parents - has anyone heard anything?

All good points to consider, while we don't know what's true, we do know that FCV is no longer in the DA and they're not in ECNL. The people who were in charge of that need to figure out what they do now. So do all the players and their parents.

Staff will use the only bargaining chip they have, the player pool, to work out a deal that benefits them.

We do not know yet that FCV will not be in ECNL.

Until either ECNL or FCV makes that announcement I would not be so sure.

Anything other than ECNL, at least on the girls side doesn't make much sense if you truly care about the players. Let's also not forget the the St James is not much more than a gym on steroids, which is closed right now. Who knows how they will look financially post-covid. That said, it could be that whatever move FCV makes could be temporary if STJ decides to start shedding some of these types of assets.

What is the going price for a former DA soccer team during the shutdown?

They're not in it now, there's no information showing they're in it. Have fun with the blind hope but ECNL will protect your club.

Academy directors didn't know. Other than NCFC and maybe a few others.

Personally, I think this is just the incentive STJ needs to complete the move to Springfield, assuming they remain solvent and operating. In that case, I'd be surprised if this doesn't happen as of fall 2020.

Maybe a few others? You mean, like SD Surf. Like Real So Cal. Why were the directors of those top clubs on top of things and prepared for the termination of DA, but the FCV director was not? Keep making excuses. We are leaving.

I don’t see why St. James would own the DA to begin with if the plans were not to eventually move them to the facility. They want parents hanging out there during practice, eating, working out and getting spa services to recoup their investment. They get nothing from parents going to evergreen.

ECNL will not make an announcement of who isn’t being accepted into ECNL.

Because some kids are at the cool kids table, and others are not.

ECNL has not made any announcement on the girls side since the DA folded. I suspect they will add at least some girls programs nationwide even if not in this area. They are probably still negotiating.

Call me skeptical, but plans might change now that doors are temporarily closed, sadly like a lot of other places. Nobody wishes anybody financial harm due to something like this. But businesses that rely on people being inside to consume the product are hurting the most: movie theaters, restaurants, coffee shops, fitness facilities, etc. There will need to be some planning, especially if they think players will move with them in that traffic, especially to an area that doesn't have the demand. DA ending really changed a lot of things, and so did COVID. It's a really bad situation.

Wrong. https://www.eliteclubsnationalleague.com/2020/04/15/san-diego-surf-and-real-so-cal-join-ecnl-girls-for-2020-21-season/

That announcement was from Wednesday, the day DA officially terminated. Those were the only 2 teams in California that were accepted. Legends, Beach and any other top national GDA club in California did not get accepted to ECNL.

Give it up. FCV, Arlington and MU are not getting ECNL.

So you honestly believe that the only clubs who are getting into ECNL are the two in California? This is what you really believe?
