This makes you sound arrogant. Congratulations. DA parents are a special entitled breed.

I have a secret...come closer so I can whisper in your ear....closer...…..YOUR DAUGHTER CURRENTLY DOESNT HAVE ROSTER SPOT ANYWHERE other than on a EDP team.

Have a nice day

DP. Yes, but she'll have your daughter's ECNL spot next fall. Have a great day back!!

I find it unlikely that ECNL will not take FCV. Sure Loundoun will end up as the weaker ECNL team but PDA, FC Stars and other clubs have teams covering the same area so I don't really see a problem. Also, why wouldn't you take a club with FCV's track-record?

If FCV doesn't get ECNL, it will fold because most of their top players are strong enough to find a spot at McLean, Bethesda, BRYC or VDA.

College Soccer scholarship $ is vaporizing as we speak. Tell her not to worry about it.

The difference is that PDA, FC Stars, etc are accomplished clubs that aren’t worried about a little competition. Loudoun? Not so much.

You sound like a scared pup barking at his shadow.

A lack of confidence has you posting such ridiculousness.

Take the roster spot that the coach promised you.

DP - problem is that FCV has no feeder clubs, so if they are not given ECNL, they are done. FCV also has no U-little development league to feed into their travel league. They always relied on poaching from non-ECNL teams. They are toast. Now, agree that all parents from ECNL teams would be foolish not to think that the top 4-6 players wold not be absorbed into their top teams. The rest would fall into the 2nd, 3rd tiers of the ECNL clubs. Not that it would be the end of the world if that would happen. Just wold have to work. Your way into the top team. Same goes for any academy teams for any club around the world.

Anyone know what the other girls Atlantic DA teams are planning for next year? Cedar Stars, Penn Fusion, Baltimore Armour, PA Classic? Anyone know?

Play EDP with FCV and Arlington

Although Penn Fusion will get ECNL.

I don’t disagree with you there. FCV isn’t sure if they are based in Springfield or Leesburg but, either way, they don’t have a large u12 and under presence in either location. From a training perspective, though, they are far better than the ECNL clubs in those locations (Loudoun and a BRYC club that just lost their lead dog.)

Well I guess a coach would be in the same boat, wanting to coach the top teams in a club. I guess they better be able to show the TD’s in these other clubs, they are worth taking on as a developmental coach. Or stick to opening up a private training business.

FCV will be ECNL - out of Springfield (TSJ) not Loudoun. Currently there is no competing ECNL league near Springfield.

BRYC is no kidding right down the street. FCV is not getting ECNL, because ECNL has not offered them a spot. This is the hopeful optimism. FCV appeared to be doing well in DA, problem is, ECNL doesn't exist to save clubs. Their ECNL clubs will soak up the best players in the area.

If you want to play in the top leagues, that's ECNL. Be prepared for a very competitive environment to earn a spot. And one more time: FCV WILL NOT BE ECNL.

Best thing for FCV is to have BRYC absorbs them and have BRYC take on their top 2 or 3 coaches.

Why would Loudoun based kids drive to BRYC when Loudoun Soccer Park is three miles from Evergreen?

Yes, if kids are from Loudoun then the logical club would be Loudoun Soccer. But if the kids are closer to the STJ area and BRYC is just down the road, they can go to BRYC. Are you saying that FCV club is made up of all kids from Loudoun?
