What more local clubs is ECNL really going to add?

Seriously? And the league is at 94 clubs now.

So who is next locally? CYA? SYA? SYC? NVSC? Herdon? LMVSC? Alexandria?

Which one of these clubs is a one way flow into ECNL?

How many clubs will ECNL expand to before they are nothing more than just the biggest league?

I mean McDonalds has thousands of restaurants but does that make them fine dining?

You sound desperate.

You're on a FCV thread telling people about the glory of ECNL. Who is really desperate here?

No, this is about the poater saying that Arlington and FCV are the only clubs with good teama in the DMV. Arrogant

I think the debate is about finding competitive matches for some of the teams in the region - not defining what team is good. I understand you care about being called good, but that is about you not about player development. I’m sure your local ECNL matches are competitive, but this is about different teams.

Your post makes zero sense.

And yet you are all hanging around a FCV thread. Why is that? Why is nobody talking about your club? Not that you mention your club at all, just the league.

FCV applied to ECNL just like almost every other DA once the league collapsed. Why not ask your TD's why they voted against FCV to join?

Lol. You think my TD kept FCV out of ECNL?. Lol. I quit

Call it what you want, it didn't make ECNL locally any better. But then don't go trolling a FCV thread crying that FCV won't scrimmage you.

You sound like the dude who breaks up with his girlfriend to then obsess over her getting on with her life without you.

That was NEVER said. You're just making stuff up.

I said, for the 100th time, FCV and Arlington teams dont need to drive to Richmond to find competetive games (friendlies, scrimmages or whatever) I can back that up.

Why do all the ECNL parents show up on FCV threads trying to convince everyone that they are good? While we humor and tolerate you, you should know that you’re out your league.

kind of like you tolerate the 4 hour drive to CSA Monmouth for a 5-0 game?

Well, everyone has league games to play now so you really need to move beyond your obsession with scrimmages.

We're here because of the BS you're spewing. Consider us "fact checkers"

THis is not your private FCV thread.

You must be dense or dim witted. A little humor in your life should be embraced.

And you drive to NC for games. I really don't understand what your point is at all.

A clubs have teams that play in leagues. Of this I'm sure you understand.

Could the world change for the better and form leagues with quality clubs that play locally happen? Sure but it won't happen.

Could clubs schedule scrimmages with each other? sure, but why when they don't mean anything. They are for practice and nothing more.

Could ECNL make a DMV division with the following clubs:
MD United
Pipeline
Bethesda
McLean
Loudoun
BRYC
VDA
Richmond

Sure they could, but they won't, why? High school soccer.

And could that ECNL division include Arlington, FCV and Baltimore Armour? Yep, it sure could.

Wouldn't that make more sense than your obsession over scrimmages?

Imagine how good and local ECNL could be if it wasn't for HS Soccer. Fix that and you won't have to drive to North Carolina and you could have quality competition at most a 2 hour drive away.

Should we talk about how a FCV team beat a Metro team 10-0 and then that Metro team turned around and beat Sporting Delaware 7-0 and now that FCV team is playing Sporting Delaware this weekend? Should we expect a 17-0 game this weekend?

Didn't Metro win a few of their scrimmages against BRYC?

So, go away and enjoy your season and be thankful that we have one at all right now.

BRYC, much like GAL, is a dead man walking. FCV will merge with them to get back into ECNL and then sell their players memberships to TSJ

But BRYC is ECNL! Why would they need to merge with anyone? Why didn't they trounce the worst club in a inferior league? Could it be the patch doesn't really mean anything?
