Story about a guy who got the virus on the cruise ship
Says if he had his symptoms without know what they were he’d likely have gone to work. Says it’s not as bad as the flu. He’s in quarantine but doing really well.

Upside of Coronavirus. Telecommuting will become norm. Better for women who want to continue working as a parent. Big victory for women rights.

Why is this good news? It means that people with mild symptoms will go about business as usual and spread it to others instead of self-quarantine. I’m glad that he is doing well but this is exactly what we should be terrified about.

I vote - telecommute for all parents who request, all the time.

NP. This is what I just don't get about the hysteria--a man with it said it was like a cold. Why should I be terrified of a cold by a different name?

Because your elderly family members may die years early due to this and in some cases people younger.

Its okay NP we will help you...
Old or not, it makes LOT of people sick AT ONCE...and some need life support regardless of age, this could be you. And if your local hospital had 1000 ventilators but 5000 people get sick, you would be triaged to wait after all the pregnant ladies.. and you would die, not from cold as you call it, but lack of luck...
