I purchased a gift card for someone else, and my credit card was charged, but they told the recipient there was no money on it. What?? Such a hassle to fix that mess.

Totally agree with this. And don't get your eyes "examined" by these clowns. They got my prescription wrong. They are not eye drs and they are not good at measuring eye problems.

Verizon. First two-year contract was fine. Renewed and every bill so far is wrong, feach or different reasons. They were supposed to send a DVR. We got two. Both the wrong models, which we returned and are still being billed for them. Ugh.

Ditto this. I'm still scratching my head over this one. My kids had certainly had chocolate prior to being potty trained but would by no means recognize the packaging during a stroll down the diaper aisle at age 2.

Wow! There is a lot for us..

Babies R Us. They have horrible return policies especially for the baby gift registry. They want to do 'exchanges" and not refunds. We also bought a car seat there and took it back because it was unsafe and didn't hold our baby. We explained that to the Customer Service lady and told them it was a defect. They put it back on the shelf anyway!!! We also noticed 2 other car seats exactly like the one we were returning sitting where they put ours to go back out on the floor!

Walmart. They just have crappy, cheap junk for sale. I don't think they have great prices because you have to replace what you buy there for not holding up.

CVS I had some meds that I needed filled. They took my prescriptions then when we went to pick them up the pharmacy was closed because the lady just up and quit!! The manager told us that he couldn't go back there to get the prescription because it was against the law. It took 2 days to get my meds filled. NEVER will I go there again for anything!

Walgreens the pharmacy. They have given out prescriptions that are wrong! I needed an antibiotic but got a heart medication instead! I happened to know what the pill was supposed to look like so took it back and asked. What happens if people don't know and take a wrong medication? NEVER using the pharmacy again at ANY location! Too dangerous.

Marlo's Furniture Store This place is a joke! HORRIBLE customer service {look at the reviews on yahoo]. We bought a red sofa that bled onto our children's clothes. They told us that it was because that our children were wet. LOL They did nothing about it but sent a lady out with her own paper towel to see if it rubbed off. Weird. I'm not too upset as it was for a playroom and I know to NEVER shop there again. We had just moved here and was in need of a sofa or would have researched a lot better. Don't waste the time even walking in the place!

Online/Catalog Shopping

NorthStyle The quality of every item I ordered was poor. THIN...VERY THIN 'coats" that actually were the thickness/warmth of a shirt. They are overpriced with horrible shipping prices. It took over a week to arrive. Customer Service is okay, but it took 4 weeks to get my refund!

Lillian Vernon has recently made my "never again" list. I've ordered a few things there over the last few years and have been disappointed with the quality and the slow fulfillment.

This year I ordered an Advent calendar for DC. The kind that is a quilted tree with hooks to hang 24 ornaments. Ours arrived with only 23 ornaments in the sealed baggy. I complained, they said they would ship me a new set, no charge. Didn't arrive. In the middle of December I noticed a credit on my account for the price of the item. They didn't bother to tell me that they weren't going to ship a new one and I had to scramble to come up with a 24th ornament.

Some Native Americans are trying to have the trademark canceled. I believe they lost the case because the plaintiffs took too long to file suit. But I understand they may try again with plaintiffs who are younger. Then the court won't be able to dismiss the case on the same grounds.

Ugh -Old Navy! YES the quality is SO cheap these days! I don't get the fascination unless you're a 14 year old with babysitting money to spend.

Yes they treat their non-mgmt staff like crap too. I don't care how nice you look in black I agree just as bad as Walmart.
