My first World Series, I was a freshman in high school. We had a partial ticket plan - every Saturday hoime game - and so weren't entitled to our regular seats, but were given the opportunity to purchase nosebleed seats instead. My dad took the opportunity, and so I was there for Game 1 (which we lost) and Game 7, when my team won. Other than the day I got married and the day my kid was born, I don't think I have ever been happier in my life. Enjoy yourself! |
Agreed- I've sat up in the 400 level many times and it's still a good view. Enjoy! One of my favorite memories with my dad was going to a world series game when I was 12- it was completely out of the blue, we followed the team but they were located 3hrs away so weren't able to attend games in person often. A customer of his had a couple extra tickets and very generously gave them to my dad. |
DP and I agree with you- I also think they might come down a bit (or not go up further) if the Astros make it over the Yankees, which is looking more likely. My cousin in NYC said he and a few of his buddies will take the train down for a game if the Yankees get in, and spending $1000+ on a ticket is nothing for them. I don't foresee as many Astro fans travelling here. |
OP here again. Thanks! We actually are veterans of Section 409, anywhere from the first row to typically the last row (not as much a fan of that as I have a fear of heights, but do appreciate the less crowdedness up in the last row), and I agree, it's a good view up there! Just grateful we got tickets at all! |
| Anyone else stuck in waiting hell for World Series tickets? Finally got through and can only get tickets for Game #2 but apparently there are none availble. Very frustrating. |
Same here, total waste of time. Logged on right at 10am and once in, only had the option to search for tickets for game 2. No standing room tickets available, no two seats together at any other level. Makes me wonder if so many people signed up for season tickets for next year to get World Series tickets this year that we'll suddenly start having trouble getting regular season game tickets off mlb? Sheesh. |
Ugh, I'm still in the waiting room, but I guess it's not worth waiting. |
I tried even buying 1 ticket at every level - nothing. Game 3 came up about 5 mintues ago - looks like there are less tickets available for Game 2 but still some. Same thing - keeps telling me no tickets...even if i do 1. |
Same. I tried again and got the option for Game 2 or 3 (after first only getting Game 2). Now wish I stopped messing around with Game 2 earlier so I would've gotten the option for Game 3 earlier. Nothing, anywhere. Not even 1. |
BTW - I've got five browsers trying - one in Firefox, one in Firefox Private, one in Chrome, one in Chrome Ignito and one on my iPhone. Only one got threw so far And even there I can't buy anythign ....ARGH!!! Probably why no one can get through - we are all staying in trying to buy tickets!!

Glad somebody is there with me - this is seriously endangering my good Nats will! |
What’s really annoying is if you click on view seat map, some sections are highlighted as if there are seats, but when you click, 0 available. |
Just go this message: There are currently no tickets available for World Series home games. Fans may continue to check inventory for these games as seats may be released for sale if they become available. For more information, contact customer service. |

And even choosing 1 ticket, "best available" isn't showing anything at all.
Oh, I just got kicked out into a "technical difficulties" page so I think I'm done. (This is the poster that was sitting in the waiting room earlier). |
| New poster - I tried and couldn’t buy anything. Same with my friend IRL. |
