Montgomery County Public Schools are closed Monday, January 14, 2019 due to emergency weather conditions. All school and community activities in school buildings also are canceled. | Closed tomorrow? My street is fine. DAMN YOU STARR! |
It’s a disaster out. Not sure where you live, but even main streets are bad. We have at least 10-12 inches. |
I am glad your street is fine. In upper Moco I shoveled at 1pm and cleaned everything. I went out at 6pm and more snow has fallen than till 1pm. As I was shoveling it was falling so hard that it was all white within minutes again. No plow came at all today so all the streets around us are completely snowed and impassable. We got more snow between 3 and 6 than during the night and earlier in the day. |
I genuinely appreciate MCPS waiting to be sure so often announcing early is just a waste. Starr is the best! |
Then we can open if you can host all the kids at your house for a sleepover! |
That’s some brilliant reasoning there. Your street is fine = everyone’s street is fine. |
Have you seen 355? Completely iced over. I'm sorry that us not dying on the roads is such an inconvenience to you |
forgot the /s |
| I also blame Starr for this. My neighborhood in Bethesda looks good to go. |
| Wow the forecasts were off on this storm. Usually they predict a massive snowfall and we get an inch on the lawn. This time they said 3-6 inches and we got about 10” near downtown Rockville. |
| Why aren't more people condemning Starr? Come on people! |
