Delay or cancellation tomorrow?

I am hoping for a delay but it’s looking more and more like a day off tomorrow. How are the roads looking in your areas? Rockville is not too bad on main areas but back roads are a mess.

This time it's going to be the Potomac neighborhoods that don't get cleared enough for school buses to get through. Schools will be ready I think.

I'm counseling the kids to expect no more than delay. A cancellation would just be a nice surprise for them then.

The southern part of MoCo is expected to pick up an additional 1-3” by the evening. The Department of Transportation for the county has said:

-All of the Road Crews have been out all night. Primary Roads and Emergency Routes are the priority at this time. Secondary Roads and neighborhoods will not be addressed until the snow has concluded (late this evening).

With this information, a closing seems likely

Are you kidding me? There's zero chance this county will have all the roads plowed, school parking lots cleared, sidewalks done by tomorrow AM. Zero. Closure for sure. I'm not an advocate, just a realist.
