Cancellation for sure.
The snow picked back up and the roads are getting worse. |
Yes, because busses only have to drive through parking lots to get children to school.

Don’t be a jerk. |
| No way there’s school tomorrow. They should just call it tonight and let everyone make plans. Our neighborhood has not been fully plowed. Do you think they will let the in school aftercares open for a full day? That would be nice. |
It is the walkways to the portables that cause delays. They all have to be done by hand. |
| I think they’ll cancel. |

Longtime parent of a child in private school that follows MoCo.
Just grow a pair of balls. Pull the "we surrender" trigger. There's not going to be school tomorrow. Save us the 5am wake up call just so that we can't get back to sleep. |
I've got a feeling schools will be closed tomorrow. No Sunday evening phone call from the principal yet. She always calls at 5, it's 5:30 now, and I don't expect her to be calling anytime soon

| You are rude and not so smart “longtime parent.” |
I doubt it. It is a hazardous drive to schools for not only buses but mcps staff as well. Just because you're willing to risk your life to get your kid to school doesn't mean they are. A lot of them also live outside of the county, where conditions could be even worse. DD had a PE teacher from west virginia at her old school |
| remember that time MCPS waited until 8:00 AM to announce closure? Ugh. I have a magnet kid who was already well on her way to school after getting picked up by the bus. I REALLY hope that doesn't happen again. |
| They have close for far less snow than this. My street was plowed once last night and not since. We are in west Bethesda close to Potomac and it's still snowing pretty hard. I just don't see even a delay happening. |
+1 Our DCs must've gone to the same school! I doubt there are many MCPS staff members from WV. |
