Heard about hazing incident at DC United U15 Boys DA Team

I think it can be locked, but parents should know this information about the program.

There really isn't a lot of information on this thread about the program. All we know is that DC United found out about the incident or incidents and cut the alleged perpetrators from the academy.

They just cut the players and nothing else? That would tell me a lot about integrity.

DCU aren’t disciplining Wayne Rooney’ after his recent arrest at DC airport for public intoxication/excessive swearing.

That should be suspension.

So there you go, it’s a pattern

I don't think anyone on here has any clue what other steps DCU may have taken, if any. A couple of posters on page 3 said that all the parents involved were satisfied with DCU's efforts to resolve the problem, but there's no way to verify that.

Sorry, what's the pattern? DCU's academy kicked the players involved out of the program.

Kicking them out is the correct thing to do. It sounds as though it should have been reported to the police.

Despite the fact that no one here actually knows what happened.
If someone has firsthand knowledge of what happened, say so.
If not, all this speculation and judgement is absolutely ridiculous.

Welcome to the DCUM soccer forum. Most threads here end up falling under that category

Nor do we have any indication anything happened, just an anonymously posted rumor on this forum. It's clearly someone who is trying to smear DCU, probably a competitor or slighted parent. This board appears rife with those types.

Lmaooooo u guys all salt. I have friends on Loudon 04 whos parents got the email that they had disconnected communication for now with dcu. And as for the part with competitors trying to smear dcu, nah we beat DC 5-3 this past season so we don't need to smear dcu to beat them. Nor do we need to recruit players mid season to keep up. ??????

And as for the part with competitors trying to smear dcu, nah we beat DC pretty handy this past season so we don't need to smear dcu to beat them. Nor do we need to recruit players mid season to keep up. ?????? fact

Nope it's Tru. I got friends on Loudon who's parents got the email that Loudon was disconnecting talks with dcu for now.

Well it should be easy enough for someone to post the email here. Copy-Paste and that should answer it.

If it’s a cover-up, then call a news outlet? Provide the emails? It’s really odd that people suggest horrible things were done to the extent that charges should be pressed, yet no one has been banned, and the people making these suggestions seem to be okay with it staying hush-hush by not providing evidence. Your anecdotes that you heard, know someone or got an email which content you won’t disclose aren’t proof and make you lose credibility, whether these horrible things went down or not.
