Of course. When a mandated reporter is told of peer-to-peer harassment of a sexual nature is reportable. Obviously, the victim didn't think it was a prank. |
That's not sexual. You are overreaching. The broomstick story was false, you can stand down now. |
Sorry to wake you from under the rock you've been living, but it is considered sexual harassment. You can brush against someone's breast or buttocks and it's sexual harassment, even if there is no broomstick. But if you are certain, tell your kid to go to school tomorrow and depants someone in the hallway in front of the principal and then report back on the school's reaction. We'll wait... |
OK softie. |
I hope you are just trolling. 4 boys held this boy down, pulled down his pants, and threatened penetration....but you think its OK and everyone is being soft. What if it was your daughter? If you think this is OK, then post your real name so everyone knows who you are and what kind of person you are. |
| So DCU was penetrating kids with broomsticks? |
You understand that there was never any allegation regarding this DCU story and a broomstick right? Broomsticks were mentioned only because the Damascus football broomstick rapes happened around the same time. |
You do realize that the implication that someone was penetrated with a broomstick was floated for months here until it was finally exposed for what it was--nothing of the sort, right? How do you know that this wasn't reported to the authorities? Given your track record here and admission that you don't have even 2nd hand knowledge, why should anyone believe anything you have said in this abomination of a thread? |

DC law:
General Provisions ... (9) “Sexual contact” means the touching with any clothed or unclothed body part or any object, either directly or through the clothing, of the genitalia, anus, groin, breast, inner thigh, or buttocks of any person with an intent to abuse, humiliate, harass, degrade, or arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person. ... § 22–3006. Misdemeanor sexual abuse. Whoever engages in a sexual act or sexual contact with another person and who should have knowledge or reason to know that the act was committed without that other person’s permission, shall be imprisoned for not more than 180 days and, in addition, may be fined in an amount not more than the amount set forth in § 22-3571.01. |
As indicated, you have no general credibility here and no way to know even if DCU did report whatever happened, which still hasn't been explicitly posted and is certainly not to the level of any kind implied by you on this thread, as DCU parent has pointed out. Again, you have no credibility, no idea what happened, no idea what the response was by DCU in full. This thread should be deleted by the admin, as it could be considered libel given some of the charges thrown around here. |
| I'm not on dc united but i know these kids. No 14 year old no matter how bad would pull someone's pants down and try to penetrate them. There's a line and they would not go that far. I would like to see evidence because i know this kids and i promise you they wouldn't want to do anything even close to penetrating a teammate. This is crazy. |
| Besides a claim made by a kid that could be true or false, How do you know the specific details. Don't spread the wrong story softie. |
This isn't about kids at all. This is about an adult who wants to try to smear DCU. It's clear from the crazy things they added to this thread that have borne out to be false. They keep posting here even now and cannot admit they are wrong because they want to smear as much as they can. But the fact remains they have no credibility and this thread should be deleted. |
