And she carries a huge pistol and sword like she’s a real bad-ass. The show is almost embarrassing.

Only minute I liked last night was when Carole and Daryl crossed paths at the end. The rest of the show was forced and cheesy.

He told Maggie a few seasons ago.

What season?

+1
I don't remember that at all.

See the post three above yours.

It really bugs some of you that Jesus is gay, doesn’t it?

Why would that bug us? We’re simply saying we didn’t know. I had forgotten about the episode in which he alluded to it in passing while talking to Maggie. We’ve never seen him with a love interest (yet), so it’s completely normal that we didn’t know or remember that he was gay. Get off your high horse.

Yes! Me too.

I want more stories about Daryl. He’s the only authentic one left. Though Michonne is still good. Some thoughts about the recent episode:

Wouldn’t Michonne and Rick’s son be 5, almost 6 by now? They made it look like he was just a toddler.

Carol’s hair - give me a break.

If Ezekiel (or Jerry) call her “my queen” one more time, I’m going to scream. In fact, I do actually yell and roll my eyes when he does that. I thought by now Ezekiel would have dropped his whole absurd Shakespearian shtick.

Judith - she’s cute, but agree with other posters. No way should she be in charge and calling the shots. Ridiculous.

GABRIEL and ROSITA?? Really??? Talk about a forced couple. Sorry, but he is completely unappealing. Ew.

I found it weird that Michonne wasn’t going to take in the strangers, but she thought Maggie might. Why?

The whole thing seems so Disney-fied now; nothing like it used to be. Makes me sad.

I'm betting he's not Rick's son.

There was a shot of Michone's back when she was changing her shirt, and you could see a "x" scar on her back. I'm betting that she was raped or something, and that kid is the result of it. It also explains her comment about how she remembers quite well the consequence of letting strangers in. I'm thinking that the next season will tell the back story of what happened.

Agree about Gabriel and Rosita. Um.. no. Zero chemistry.

I would also like to see a love interest for Daryl.

Angela Kang has already confirmed that he is Rick's son.

OMG - i agree with everything you said. EVERYTHING. Except at the end, M and R's son did look a bit older when she was carrying him - his legs were hanging pretty low on her so I'll give them a pass on that, but when we got a glimpse of him earlier in the episode, he looked totally like a toddler.

the whisperers.
Was it just me or did anyone else miss them talking. I had to replay and replay (and then google and watch on youtube a bunch of times) before I barely heard "where are they"

Was this the first time we hear them?

Yes, this was the first time - so scary!!! You could just see the horror on Rosita and Eugene's faces. I'm so intrigued - finally, a new and exciting storyline.

True, he did look more like a five yr. old at the end!

Anyone see the latest episode? Maggie has apparently left with Herschel to stay with Georgie. Do we even know where Georgie is? No details, she's just gone? So bizarre.

Anyone else find the new group of people to be annoying? I kind of like the surly Magda, but the bearded guy and the others are DULL.

Daryl, how I love you. Just wish you'd wash that hair.

At least they have a somewhat interesting storyline now that the whisperers have entered the picture. So creepy.

I am loving season 9! But having trouble accepting the newcomers. Magda does seem interesting, but sketchy. It’s hard for me to like and accept that many new characters at once along with the big time jump and after losing such important characters. I don’t really miss Maggie though, I found her to be annoying the last few seasons. And I like the dynamic between Jesus & Tara running hilltop.
Not a fan of Henry either, not little boy Henry, or the new older version. He seems way too naive and whiny to say he grew up in that world.
Poor Daryl, I feel so sad for him living all alone, looking for Rick after all these years. (And seriously, Carol had 30 minutes and only cut off one hank of his hair?? Maybe next time she’ll bring scissors and shampoo)
I hope they explain those X scars next episode!
