Walking Dead Season 9 (SPOILERS)

Ugh agree with all of you. It's funny, when it first began every episode was amazing and seemed like the episodes went by so fast because I was fully involved.

Fast forward to now. I feel like watching it is a chore because I have to know how it ends at this point. I just feel I have invested too much time to just leave it. But it was so much better before.

Is next week Rick's last episode?

Yes. The show really sucks now.

SPOILERS

================================

So all those visits Rick gets from his dead companions and there's no CARL? Did the actor tell them to kick rocks or something? No Glen? No Lori I kind of get because it's been so long.

The Herschel appearance was sweet only because the actor died not long ago.

Maggie should have just killed Negan. Was he putting on an act with all that "KILL ME" nonsense?

I figured no Carl or Lori b/c he kept saying he was trying to find his family and they wanted to keep it ambiguous.

But I'm confused by the end -- he's not dead. And what was with the helicopter when everyone is using horses to get around?

Have you not been watching the last couple of seasons?

It's a different group. Rick is going to end up with that group, and they are going to create a spinoff show with Rick. Previous episodes have shown a helicopter, and as they say in the literary world, it was a foreshadowing because Rick saw one in one of the episodes.

I think the future of all the WD shows is to merge all 3 eventually -- TWD, FTWD, and now Rick's new show.

The one thing I didn’t love is that this was Maggie’s last episode of the season, maybe for good, and they’re apparently going to just let her character fade (explanation will probably be that she left Hilltop to join Georgie’s community). I know they’re hoping she’ll be back and at least the scene with Negan gave some resolution to her storyline (and gives an explanation for why she might finally feel ready to leave Hilltop for), but I’ll be bummed if that’s all we ever get and we never get the full arc of her story.

There isn’t going to be a new show about Rick, they’re planning a series of AMC movies. Andrew Lincoln’s primary reason for leaving was that he was tired of living across an ocean from his family for six months of the year during filming.

Rumor was Andrew Lincoln wanted to be done with WD altogether, though. Maybe they decided to keep him alive in case they're out of story ideas for season 27.

I still watch, obviously, but the show should've ended years ago.

ok, movies... but in the end, they will merge all three groups. But, seriously, these little "movies" will be like short run shows, like what they did with the xfiles recently.

TWD and FTWD are still AMC’s top two most successful current shows. They’re not trying to consolidate the universe, they’re trying to expand it.

When the time comes to end the shows, they will have them merge. That would be an awesome series ender.

I thought I saw her in previews for the next 3 episodes - at the end of yesterday's show, they showed "previews for the next 3 episodes" and she was arguing with someone (forgot who). So, I don't think this was her last show.

In Talking Dead, both the executive producer and Andrew Lincoln himself talked about a series of movies that expands on Rick Grimes' life (where he goes in the helicopter??)
