| So is this really the crap all over Katherine show? She loses a friend, husband, gives up a partnership and her lying cheating husband goes gets the band back together to go on the road? Stick a fork in this show! |
Katherine has been miserable spending so much time away from her son. She asked for a reasonable concession before accepting the partnership and the partners refused. Regardless, she was happy at the prospect of spending more time with Theo. Her jerk off ex going on the road means she'll get even more time with him. Plus her new love interest is a major upgrade. She's doing better now, not worse. |
| Why is the show so intent on making Delilah the object of male interest? That little gas station flirtation was ridiculous. The actress is generically pretty and not particularly charismatic. She and the guitar player are the weakest parts of the show. |
You put it well I can’t agree more. |
| So the winter finale. Don’t do this, don’t ruin the family, and Delilah gets an envelope. It’s gotta be that Jon was taking out second, third loans, right? Something financial? |
Maybe claims on the insurance money for a child Jon fathered? Barbara Morgan is the misstress? |
|
Guys! Did anyone watch the fall finale?? So much drama - and that preview! Here’s a recap and what’s coming up for the rest of the season:

I watched. Those sons of b****es have me anticipatung the next episode. I was on my way out but now I want see what happens. Grrr.
A few things, how messed up is it for D to go to K for help? Um, maybe as messed up as E spending the first Christmas of his broken family on the road playing his guitar? Oh no, how about spending the days leading up to the band tour helping his mistress decorate her tree rather than hang out with his own son? I hate him. Ashley- what is the story with her?? |
Delilah may be one of the most loathesome new tv characters in awhile. Go to the wife of the man who cheated with you and knocked you up for help, presumably also wanting a steep discount or for free because even if she didn't make partner no doubt her hourly rate is hefty. Sean is battling Delilah for the title belt. I slept with the assistant because I love you? What on earth is that? Also maybe it was just me, but him and his shocker she is getting chemo afterall girlfriend mouthing off to the couple rightfully in line in front of them because they didn't automatically give them cutsies after they snarked on the elderly couple in the other line figuring the presence of a checkbook means they will be waiting into the new year to make a purchase (sensitive because my mom still uses a checkbook but she can write one out in 10 seconds flat) irked me. If they were in such a hurry is there no Target or some other store where they could have purchased lights? They just had to go back to the tree lot where people just might be buying a host of items and the lines don't move at the speed of light? |
| I agree that Gary and Maggie were obnoxious at the tree lot. But I was glad to see Jon's kids included in the storyline again. |
|
I’m pretty sure John was bankrupt and thought maybe his family could collect life insurance. I think you can collect off a suicide with some policies.
It was obvious from the beginning he was having an affair with Ashley and I still think she knows plenty of shady crap. |
| Somebody anybody tell Katherine that Grimm is the father of Delilah's baby! I'm guessing the doctor will accidentally call their house and spill the news. |
| So no one died, and things are still unclear. My theory is that Jon orchestrated some plan to defraud/betray Barbara and make D not responsible for the debt. Ashley being secretive about documents, shredding them, is getting old. Now every time she’s on screen I’m getting annoyed. I don’t think Jon was having an affair with her either. The secrecy around Ashley is getting annoying. Plus Eddie is suuuuuuuch a jerk. He’s caught at D’s house and all he can say is blabber about D right in front of Katherine, the mother of his child, the woman he lived with for a decade. His thing for D comes across as so juvenile. Plus can D please get a different haircut??? |

They're trying to bring in some intrigue yet somehow the show is still slow.
And remind me why a woman is still more interested in training for a 5K than dealing with the financial mess her husband left behind? Why isn't she on the phone or driving around town trying to piece together what is going to happen to her and her children? |
Because she's a useless passive person accustomed to others taking care of her? |
