A Million Little Things

Yeah, this show is pretty cliche' I just want to know what is in that suicide note, and why did the assistant (no name) sleep with Shawn. Maggie's reasons for not undergoing medical treatment is ludicrous.

As ludicrous as the plane dream? That was terribley done. It had the look of an SNL sketch.

It is suspicious why the assistant slept with him now. He's always been around. She knew he had a thing with Maggie so why now?

Didn’t they show what was in the note?

What REALLY annoys me is that two teen/preteen children lost their father, and yet they show the mother off at a restaurant opening here or a night out with friends there. I can't imagine having that free of a schedule while trying to comfort grieving children. So absurd. Agree that nobody on this show is likeable by Rome and Regina, and I kind of like Katherine too.

I almost wish there weren't kids in the Jon/Delilah family because they are treated like an afterthought by the show writers. It doesn't have to be a series about suicide aftermath alone but to write their lives without regularly addressing it after less than a month is crappy.

Why oh why am I still watching this? Like a PP said, almost no one is likable.

Right now I'm only curious about what the assistant is hiding, like who Barbara Morgan is.

I wish someone with inside knowledge of this show would just tell us what the deal is with Barbara Morgan so we could all collectively jump ship.

Are we supposed to root for the Grimm guy and the widow or what? I want to say no, but would a show be that dumb to have so many unlikeable characters and stupid storylines?
Does Grimm guy have any money? Seems like his wife was doing the heavy lifting money-wise, yet he vowed to be there for his friend's wife that he knocked up. How exactly is he going to be there? Money? Time? He has a son and is trying to play rock star. She has 2 kids.

Yeah, this show is taking itself so seriously and patting itself on its back for being so brave to discuss these topics. In reality it is such a caricature of itself.

Cancer girl. I get it. You have cancer. You want to die. Ok. STOP whining whining whining episode after episode. Just do you and be done with it. THe brother she 'didn't save' Not enough eye rolls. Yeah, ok, that is why you want to die. I can't stand her and her self absorbtion.

Guitar guy. LOSER. Grade A. Seems like a nice dad but was an alcoholic, doesn't work and then cheats on his hard working wife with his BFF wife?? WTF dude.

Widow. Has she even told her kids she is preggers or does it not matter since we won't see this baby after its born just like the rest of her kids?

Rome's wife: She is annoying as F. No idea why, i just can NOT stand her.

This show is so bad it is addicting.

It’s the magic of television. And her cute little boy who crowed that they always have Friday Night Pizza at Uncle Jon’s. Mom, pleeeese?

Yes, the cliche storyline that he is bridges the parents.

For some reason it bugs me that the kid looks like he got no genes from the dad. In Caucasian Asian looking offspring, kids predominantly look Caucasian with some minor Asian features. Why did the producers cast that kid? Is he the kid of someone important in the industry or financing that thing? His acting is perfectly fine, but the visuals are off and it always makes me think he’s the stepdad not the bio dad. It’s distracting. This is a very minor gripe. Otherwise I’m enjoying the show though I roll my eyes at the many small cliches (like the use of the kid’s comment to put Katherine at that party).

It's another cliche I am tired of: person A cheats on person B and person B, who didn't cheat, takes a lump sum of the blame. 2 people cheated on their spouses who worked like crazy. Her salary afforded him season hockey tickets and plenty of mope time because his opening act rock band days are gone and he now teaches guitar lessons. The cheating woman had the luxury of being a sahm. Maybe she needed attention and a purpose, but she had the means to fix her feelings, but she chose to cheat with one of her husband's best friends who couldn't afford to live in her driveway let alone support her cushy life.

I agree!!! Poor Katherine!!! There are plenty of female attorneys who have demanding jobs and work long hours (whose husbands don’t cheat).
The storyline of a cheating spouse because the other person is working all the time is so cliche it’s lame. Busy spouse=cheating plus the friends not crucifying the cheaters is a part that is a bit unpalatable for me.

He’s going to freeload off of Delilah in her house and play stepdaddy. He balked at signing a one year lease for that rental apartment. If I were the person showing apartments I’d be so annoyed that a renter wasn’t even ready to commit to renting something. Such a man child.

Everyone I know that's half asian looks pretty asian. They may not have super strong features but it's definitely clear. I wouldn't cast someone that looks more white and not asian.

+1. The Gosselin family is a great example of strong genes! John is half Asian, yet his children have features like him.
