| Did anyone watch A Million Little Things on ABC last night? I thought it was very good and am looking forward to seeing how the series continues to develop. |
|
I had it on and watched the beginning. I lost interest half way through and picked up my book.
|
|
I did. I cried throughout. Hated the affair sub plot...turned it from a decent evening drama into a tawdry soap opera like show, particularly if that ends up being the "cause" of the suicide.
I'll definitely watch again, though, and see how it progresses. |
| I started watching it last night and will finish it tonight. Seems like and interesting concept, but i fail to see how it will continue past one season. |
| I half watched it and honestly i didn't love it as much as I'd hoped to. I've been looking forward to this show. But since I only half watched I'm going to re-watch with my full attention, hopefully I'll like it better next time. |
|
I have it saved to watch this weekend.
I'm worried because I've read some bad reviews online about it. I had high hopes about it. I'm a big James Roday fan. |
| It had too much going on in the first hour. |
| I thought the premise was good but having two friends attempt suicide at the same time was too soap opera for me. Also it really bugged me that after her husband's funeral the wife would hang out and have wine with her friend and a person she'd never met and chit chat. All I could think is you should be comforting your children. It really bothered me. |
Yeah, the new widow was chatting and smiling fireside while her kids were presumably in the house grieving. |
Yes, This is my problem with network TV they feel like they have to jam too much stuff in to one episode. There is no room for the subtleties of a good story. The fact that HBO will air a couple of not so good episodes that builds to an exceptional third episode is why it is worth watching! |
| I thought I was going to like it as I'm a fan of This Is Us and other dramas. But I disliked all the men and found it bizarre that two of them would commit/attempt suicide at the exact same time...unless there's some connection we don't know about yet. |
Psych! |
Agree, he was great! Lots of on-screen charisma. We'll see how the second episode goes. |
The multiple affairs. Buying someone a restaurant. Stalker son and widow confiding in his mistress. Secret real estate deal hidden as hot assistant (who had to be sleeping with Jon or MAYBE his secret love child from years ago) And cast is all very attractive, just better cameras than soup And Roday was great as his date (who has recurrent cancer) Two suicide attempts? That BARELY touches the surface of how soupy it was. But I like Roday, and Psych was hammy as all get out so will give this a try. |
