it's ok to freak out temporarily but at the end of the day OP is 35ish. it's time to grow up. |
It'll be time to change lots of huggies. It'll be time to lose lots of sleep. It'll be time to watch lots of movies with talking animals. |
| Proceed to testing |
| If the baby has your genes, keep calm and father on. Your child will appreciate you never say a word about the oops. |
She played you! Stupid stupid. |
| What's your salary? |
| Have her take a pregnancy test in front of you. |
Why? Just wait a couple months. No need to make decisions right now anyway. |
To see if she's lying about being pregnant. She could fake a pregnancy for up to a few months and then miscarry by that time she'd have OP back emotionally. |
|
OP, I'm not even 35 yet but I'll have a 16 year old when I'm 35. Teen pregnancy is something to freak out over, but you're 35 and established. My teen pregnancy scared the hell out of me but my teen is now a honor roll student and going to be graduating from high school early. Oh, and we're happily married, which is not something I thought I would say way back then. If you want to try to make it work, go for it. If not, just be a good dad and show up because you owe the child that much. |
Not that high - I'm a few years into a tenure-track professorship. Good benefits and I will be tenured next year, fingers crossed. |
Cute how you’re only responding to the posts that you think are worthy. Why on earth were you not using birth control? |
Hey. Sorry I've been away! Finals this week, extremely busy. I'll go back and answer more questions. Sheesh. |
|
Are you going to see her this weekend, OP? What are your next steps? |
So help me to understand this: you are educated and seeking tenure for a professorship but you are to stupid to use reliable BC and having unprotected sex with a woman you barely know? Tell me where teach so I don’t send my children there. |
