| ^^^^^^ Sorry for my bad typing! |
I'm happy to hear that MCPS published separate in boundary scores and they are higher to shut down the people on this board who think the in boundary kids are not competitive with the rest of the county. |
No way it's in bound score, more likely boys v. Girls |
My child is a boy in-boundary--so your theory doesn't work. |
out-boundary boy here median score 27/41/22. PP makes sense. |
| TKMS acceptance. Out of boundary boy. Median 27/41/22. |
Say what? Nice try, but no way. They don't take averages by gender. Must be in boundary. And, yes, it is refreshing to say that in boundary test scores are higher than out of boundary. So, we can just stick a cork in the old complaint about in boundary having it easier! |
|
In boundary girl. TPMS medians stated:
Raven -- 27 SCAT -- 41 RC -- 22 |
| It looks like we have both out of boundary and in boundary children who have received letters with the higher median test scores so there must be another reason for having two sets of median scores for the same program |
Typo? |
|
Typo? Maybe. Probably.
But am shocked that someone would have the audacity to assume that median scores ran along gender lines (& that boys were higher). Good grief. |
I think Lucy Barnsley HGC has three classes, can anyone verify? |
Yes, Barnsley has 3 classes per grade (Barnsley is fed by 4 HS clusters) |
| And for those who want to know the HS clusters that feed into Barnsley ... WJ, RM, Rockville, and Wheaton. |
Race line? Is it part of what Metis was recommending? If it is so, the difference is minuscule. |
