DD was admitted to Richard Montgomery IB. Her letter doesn't indicate any test scores. She has friends not admitted and wait listed, and they DID get test scores. Is it policy not to send test scores for those admitted (I guess we shouldn't care about the score if they were admitted?)

This is how it's been in the past, too. Some of the programs release test scores for everyone, others you only see when not admitted.

No letter from Takoma. Didn't apply to Eastern. At an HGC so will be tough on Monday.

1 PT difference can be explained by normal statistical variation in the testing population, not the test itself.

got accept letter from RM and Wheaten HS. No score or % on both letters. live in silver spring area. Also applied for Blair, no letter yet.

We don't know anything yet from the hs magnets, but I am definitely curious about what score DC got. If it is not on the letter, can you request it, or do you have to make some formal FOIA request to get such info - anyone know?

I head you can call to request the score. I think it is so important to know our kids' score as parents. Don't know why MCPS don't release score this time?

Got a "waiting pool" response from Blair SMAC in today's mail.

The letter says we can request our child's scores.

For people who were waitlisted or rejected from RM IB or some other hs magnet, did your letter report your kid's score as well as the median scores, and if so could you post the median scores?

Thank you but I don't think I want mine. If my son's are high we might become complacent if on the low side we may worry about being able to keep up.
