FWIW he took a polygraph and passed. |
Not being facetious- can sociopaths get accurate polygraph results? Seems like they would always pass given their lack of feelings. |
| Only 20 years for this POS? |
She said she feels that now, so I guess I'm happy for her. She's been through hell. And poor, poor Natalie. |
No one can get accurate polygraph results. They're BS. |
| Polygraph or no, I don’t believe a single word this POS says. I think he had help dumping the body. |
Victim blame! |
Maybe his two acquaintances helped him, but I'm not sure that was necessary. She was quite a bit smaller than he. If already on the beach, how hard would it be to add some weight and drag her body out to sea? |
I was thinking his dad was the helper - took her out to sea on their boat. |
Maybe the tide was going out? |
I don’t believe him either. I think he’s just letting some story so he can get the plea deal of concurrent sentence of 20 yrs along with 28 years for murder in Peru. He was involved in her killing but he didn’t act slur and he’s protecting those other two fellows or his dad. I CS believe his dad or others helped him get rid of the body in his boat. |
The “so what” is stop pretending that she wasn’t drinking and that it’s speculation. |
Wasn’t there evidence that the family boat was taken out that night? I agree with the PP that he didn’t wade into the water with her. I think the rest of the story is true. |
I can’t believe you’re equating dangerous driving with being raped and killed. The ONLY person who is responsible for her choice in this situation is the rapist and murderer. If she passed out and got a fatal head wound, you would have a point. The problem was that the guy she met was a rapist and a murderer. She could have been drugged. Stop victim blaming. It’s moot at this point because we will never know what really happened. But if you want to avoid being a victim of violent crime, not getting blackout drunk, not leaving bars with strangers, not keeping a gun in a house with kids, or not having one in your house at all, not using drugs, and not flipping off angry drivers are sensible precautions. Are you saying that after this incident, you wouldn’t tell your teenage daughter - hey, next time you are on a tropical island, don’t over drink and leave the bar with a stranger? If so, you are victim blaming. I am from mountain brook, the home of the victim, so I know the agony that the community has gone through. Believe me, all the mtn brook moms tell their daughters about Holloway as a cautionary tale. |

Believe me, all the mtn brook moms tell their daughters about Holloway as a cautionary tale. You’re still victim blaming. She didn’t fall and get hurt. The problem was a homicidal man who didn’t like being rejected who has now killed two women. He is the problem. Drunk women who leave a bar with a nice guy who isn’t a rapist and murderer get a ride home or a couch to sleep on. I used to live in the area too. Girls still drink too much and go in those island trips their senior year. |
