Its a curious ad. I wonder who the target market is...Dems will like it, but they are not voting for Trump and it will make the Republicans base more supportive of Trump. Sound bites of attacks on Trump from people the republicans base has resoundingly rejected and think of as the problem will actually strengthen Trump. So what is the purpose of the ad...to make democrats feel better? its really a waste of resources. The time and money could have been spent better else where.

1. To remind Republicans who are fence sitting about rallying around Trump (that is about half of all GOP primary voters - True Cons, NeoCons, moderates, etc) about what is wrong with Trump, as voiced by their own 2. To let any Repubs and Repub leaning independents who have not been paying attention know how bad Trump is, as voiced by their own 3. To pressure the GOP leaders to not endorse Trump, or else look like fools. 4. To put Trump back on the defensive - not let him bask in "rallying around"

It is a democratic feel good ad. Most of the people in the video will endorse Trump and quickly put the primary behind them. This does nothing to build the image of Hillary. Sorry another bad play by Hillary.

It worked for me simply because I will be voting for Clinton ONLY on the basis if her not being Trump. There is no other reason.

Ditto. I hated Bill Clinton and if possible, I might hate Hillary more. I am an independent who used to be a diehard Republican. And about the only thing that could have made me vote for Hillary in this election was Trump being the other option. I would have even been better with Cruz as the nominee although I disagree with his social conservatism (I am fiscally conservative, socially liberal). But at least he was competent!! I think my 8 year son has more maturity than Trump. I can't believe anyone would even consider putting him in charge of this country. It has nothing to do with being liberal or being conservative (I think most people would agree that Trump is not a true conservative). It has to do with the fact that he has no idea what he is doing! All he knows how to do is speak off the cuff and get people excited because he doesn't care about insulting anyone and everyone. He has shown no interest in learning about economic policy, foreign policy, etc. Truly scary.

I am as liberal as they come and I feel the same about voting for Clinton. It's almost like Hillary Clinton and Trump are bringing all of the sane/normal people together and making us realize our differences are not that huge after all. I mean, they are... but they are not as big as our dislike for the two candidates. A Republican told me the other day that Trump is far more liberal than Hillary and that is why he has to vote for her. Things are just getting too weird for me lately.

I am very sane and normal and voting for Hillary.

Congratulations on believing so but I see Clinton and Trump supporters as maintaining a form of delusion.

Yep two people who were already decided. It make you feel good, but does nothing to get new voters. The clock is ticking...

Kind of OT, but can you explain this to me? Bill Clinton was actually President when things liek NAFTA were signed into law, he's actually the person who signed the law. He's also a well-known womanizer who, at best, tried to "mischaracterize" to a Grand Jury a relationship he had with an intern in the Oval Office...while he was a sitting President. Hillary may have voted for things as Senator that you don't like, but her vote alone is not what got those bills passed nor is she the ex-President who chose to send troops into battle. She also might have been the country's Chief Diplomat when foreign policy recommendations were made, but there was a different person who was actually in charge of making final decisions.

The idea of Hillary the All-Powerful who has somehow been responsible for all of the missteps of the last 3 Presidents if frankly amazing to me. I know some people hate both the Clintons, but I really don't understand hating Hillary more than Bill.

You are right. I hate her exactly as much as I hate Bill and no more. They are equally horrible. Your argument for her is extremely thin, btw. Just because she did not MAKE all of the bad things happen herself, does not mean she is not partly to blame for a lot of bad things.

My argument is specifically about how culpable she is in relation to Bill Clinton, GWB, and Obama. Not sure if you are the PP who said they may hate Hillary more than Bill, but there does seem to be a general sentiment of greater hatred of her than any of the people who were actually President when the bad policy decisions were made. That's the part I don't understand.

If you say so. All I am saying is that Clinton and Trump as candidates seem to be uniting a lot of people from both parties who hate them almost equally. Perhaps that is a beautiful thing. I ordinarily agree on very little with Republicans but most of us can agree that Clinton and Trump both suck and that Clinton is probably the lesser of the two evils though we really have no way of knowing what either of them will do as president. And, in some ways, Trump is probably the more liberal of the two.
