| I’m definitely not a donut snob. Yeast, cake, potato, hot, room temp, chain, mom & pop — I’ll eat it all. Duck Donuts are probably my favorite in this area. |

| The one time I tried Duck Donuts in Rockville, they were so awful I ended up throwing them away. I’n okay with cake donuts (I loved Fractured Prune before they closed the local branch) but Duck Donuts tasted like a bad version of yellow birthday cake. |

+1 We live near Donut King and go there not infrequently. Plain cake are my favorite, and they do those well. |

DC is not good at pizza or donuts.
The donuts around here aren’t worth it. I wait til I am visiting family in Chicago to eat donuts and pizza. Problem solved. |
