I’m definitely not a donut snob. Yeast, cake, potato, hot, room temp, chain, mom & pop — I’ll eat it all. Duck Donuts are probably my favorite in this area.

The one time I tried Duck Donuts in Rockville, they were so awful I ended up throwing them away. I’n okay with cake donuts (I loved Fractured Prune before they closed the local branch) but Duck Donuts tasted like a bad version of yellow birthday cake.

We live near Donut King and go there not infrequently. Plain cake are my favorite, and they do those well.

Duck Donuts aren’t donuts. They are bad cake with crap on top of them.

I know this is hard to believe, but people like different kinds of flavors and textures. Grow up.

DC is not good at pizza or donuts.

The donuts around here aren’t worth it.
I wait til I am visiting family in Chicago to eat donuts and pizza. Problem solved.

Donut Run is very very good, but they're a particular style. I'd like to try this Donut King...

+1 for Good Company Doughnuts. I live in DC and haven't found any really good doughnuts here but I get these when I'm passing through N Arlington. So good!

+2 for Good Company
