Nobody ate sushi twenty years ago, then they started popping up and people thought it was 'cultural' and 'sophisticated' to go there, hence why the majority of the crowd is females and metrosexuals. They even put it on their facebook all the time.. they never mention when they're going out to a steak place or to eat some kfc.. but if they're going to a sushi place, everyone has to know about it.

You're ridiculous. How do you keep a straight face when you look in the mirror?

I can't keep a straight face when people act refined.

Sure have. I did not feel anything was fresh, the fish was warm, and I was not impressed! I will stick to my regular place.

My usual order is:

1 (or 2) sweet potato tempura rolls with cream cheese
1 California Roll
1 Salmon Roll
2 (or 3) Salmon hand rolls
1 Shrimps tempura roll. Gotta luv them shrimps.

Are you sure you're not confusing individual pieces with whole rolls?

No, I'm not. I'm talking 6 piece rolls on each of those. I need at least 35 individual pieces to fill me up. I'm a big boy.

You sound fat as hell.

Most of the crap you are listing, like all these rolls, especially rolls with cream cheese and fried fish and fake crab, are not really sushi. A small role with raw fish and maybe a little scallion or cucumber is real sushi. And none of you seem to eat any fish other than salmon. That is so pathetic. What a bunch of posers. Good Sushi is nigiri - a piece of raw fish on a small rice bed. You people eat crap Americ-ushi.

One bigger and one smaller roll plus a soup or salad. If I eat kampyo or eel will I live up to snobby PP's high standards?

I was. Still am heavy but working on it. Just walked 4.5 miles on the canal. Have lost close to 20 pounds so far.

I was at Yoyogi Sushi in Kentlands for lunch....didn't see anyone. Got two sweet potatoe rolls with cream cheese, a California roll, a salmon roll, and a tuna hand roll. Also got a side of rice. Great food, all gone very quickly!

Why more rice? What did you eat it with?
