| My dry white skin has aged. Having dry skin was awesome in my teens when everyone else had acne and I got complimented on my excellent collection, but it has not aged as well as some of the former oil pots. |
collection = complexion! |

I'm 41, two kids (5 and 3) and look, according to people not a day older than 30. I have olive tan skin, virtually no wrinkles and I'm small (5'1" and 108 pounds), I think all that combined helps
My neighbor next door swore I was 25 when we moved in. When I turned 40 last year and he found out he spent one week telling me over and over how he could only believe it because DH looks his age. I think DH looks gorgeous at 42, looks his age but he is aging very nicely.

Asian here. People generally think I look about 5-7 years younger than I am. I think this is because I have a very round face, and tend to not wear much make up. I also wear my hair in a ponytail a lot and have almost no wrinkles due to being a former and current "oil pot" as a PP put it.
I've about fallen out of my chair at work to find out the ages of some of my African American co-workers; I would say they squarely fall into the look much younger rather than just look good for their age category (at least the people I work with). |
| You all are so full of shit! It is hilarious. |
OMG PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE get over it. Its not true. No one thinks you look FIFTEEN years younger. No one. |
Agreed. Please learn some self-awareness. There are as many moms who think they look 10-15 years younger than their age as there are moms who think their kids are of above-average intelligence. Somehow, not everyone can be right. Why are so many of you unwilling to face the fact that you might just look your age and probably do, and that that's life, and it's okay? |
| I love that although DC metro is one of the homeliest areas in this entire country and 90% of the women here are frumps, when threads like this pop up suddenly everyone "looks 20" or "doesn't look like I've had 3 kids." Bitches, please! No you don't and yes you do! |
| AA here. I am in my late 30's and work in healthcare. My patients think I am too young to do what I do (job). I look about 10-15 years younger than my age. |
| My kids were little/young when I was in my late 30's/early 40's. I don't think that I looked particularly young for my age back then. In fact, I was tired so I probably could have past for a little older. |
Women here don't color their hair, get nip tucks and think they are hot. |
Uh, few of us give enough of a crap to worry about our **LOOKS!!** that much. I color my hair but feel no need to undergo medical incredibles in a desperately futile attempt to look younger. I'm close to 50 and I'm cool with that. |
| If you look your age or older and you are happy with that great. I look waayyy younger than my age (early 40-something) and I love it. |
| I don't know what people think, but I'm sure I'm not passing for a day under 30 now that I am 41. Some of the PP are living in rainbow-unicorn land or have very kind/not bright obsververs. |
| I am 39 and people are always shocked to hear my age. Most people assume I am in my early 30's. I credit a lot of sunscreen and always sunglasses when there is any sun. |
