| Undies are jammies in my house. |
| Oldesest son 8 will usually just wear underwear and that's it to bed . Younger son 4 still wears a pull-up under jammies to bed . |
ok nutcase

+1 so strange for a kid to have no underwear on. |
| I never heard of underwear under nightwear and I am over 65. I shower before bed. |
and i have never thought about NOT wearing underwear under any clothes, including pjs. |
wouldnt the night time ones work for the following day? |
| Are you a pervert OP? |
| In my 42 years of life, I have never encountered someone who didn’t at least wear underwear to bed. WTF, dcum. |
I am also 42, and same here! Neither I nor my kids nor my siblings to my knowledge ever got a UTI. But this is fascinating. I do wonder what the demographic breakdown of the responders is (like with the washcloth debates). |
| gross, yes. |
| I think this is the infamous perv who keeps asking about kids under garments. Don't feed the troll pervs. |
|
It really depends on the kid! Some kids prefer to wear undies under their jammies for extra comfort, while others are fine without them. I think it’s all about personal preference and what makes them feel comfortable for a good night’s sleep.

Everyone should sleep in cotton underwear. Everyone.

Agree. Not showering before bed is also gross, especially for younger kids who don’t always wipe well. My kids shower and put on clean cotton underwear and sometimes pajamas, sometimes just underwear and an undershirt to bed. The not wearing underwear because “needing to breathe” is a myth. Genitals don’t breathe. Plus there are pajamas and blankets over them, they aren’t getting fresh air circulation anyhow. Kids have never had a UTI or yeast infection. |
