Weird. My DS hardly wears undies.

DS never wears undies.

Do people really wash pajamas after one wearing?? Must be the same people who wash their bras after one wearing. So unnecessary!

What I get from this thread: people care way too much about what works for other people.

I don't find it comfortable to not wear underwear; no UTIs for me, but I do have secretions now and again, and to not have those 'collected' on something doesn't feel clean to me. Not sure yet what we'll do for my baby once she gets to underwear stage.

Underwear, mainly briefs, should not be worn to bed because they will constrict a boy's erection (which they get several of during sleep), and possibly causing it to have a bend. This is less likely to happen if the boy "wears" his penis in the upright position. However, it will generally not stay in that position. Heard this from a pediatrician.

Yes, always.

Yes, I wash pajamas after one wearing. One kid never wears underwear under his pj's (and often under his clothes). The other wears them about 50/50. Whatever feels comfortable to them works for me.

This is interesting. We bathe everything, fresh undies & pajamas. Occasionally in the summer the kids ask to sleep in only undids. If for some reason we need to skip a bath we get fresh undies & clean pajamas.

I wonder is this a regional thing? If you sleep with no undies where did you grow up and if u wear undies where do u grow up?

I grew up in northern va & undies all the time.

Yes.

Oh god. I still remember this one girl I went to elementary school with did not. She was teased relentlessly at sleepovers despite her insistence that it was "healthy". or probably because of.

+1 My kids wear fresh pajamas every night too. You wouldn't wear underwear twice without washing it so why pajamas?

We wear underwear. We also wear the same pajamas for about 3 nights though. Is that unusual?

If I ever was of that school and she didn't wear underwear, I'd cry and give her some of my underwear for her to wear. I couldn't take off my underwear when I went to elementary school. I am of profound mental retardation.
