I understand case law vs laws. I'm not sure why you're explaining it to me. You could argue that there is no right to privacy, but cases have been decided on it: Griswold v Connecticut, Lawrence v Texas, Roe v Wade, etc. Even Scalia has noted that it is a precedent that can't be overlooked at this point.

If your doctor tells you that the fetus you're carrying has abnormalities that are incompatible with life and you'd like to carry that pregnancy to term as well, you should feel free to do that. The only thing I'm asking is that when I am making decisions, with my husband and my doctor, about my reproductive rights, you stay out of those decisions because they are not yours to make.

My real point, which I didn't state specifically because I didn't think I had to, was that I am absolutely certain that it's not YOUR decision or YOUR body, so back off. If you're going to go off about how the fetus gets a choice, like I said, I'm sure there are things that you are teaching your children or giving to them that I do not believe in. But they're YOUR KIDS. So I'm not going to tell you how you do or do not get to raise them. If you were abusing or killing off children, the law could step in to stop you -- even though they're your kids.
