Signed an educated, wealthy, hot woman who does not give a shit about what people think of me!

^Pina Colada Drinker^

Just sayin'.

Actually I hate piña coladas. The taste not the drink. Just sayin: you were trying to be funny and failed. Go for the gold next time you try and insult someone.

For someone who doesn't give a shit what people think of her, you are awfully sensitive.

Oh yes- I am "sensitive" because I am refuting statements made by a moron on an anonymous forum that I find to be inaccurate and stupid. Sure I am "sensitive." Nice try but your turn is up, please play again later.

Actually if it is a work function, see what the most senior person at the table is ordering and take your cue from that. If they order beer then stick to beer, a cocktail then stick with a cocktail ( for me that would be Jamison on the rocks), wine then stick to wine, and if they don't drink alcohol then neither do you.

I don't drink much liquer in general so I wouldn't order a drink at a work dinner. I would get a glass if white wine and usually have red with dinner

I'm usually the most senior person at a majority of dinners. I hate this. I've noticed that some of my staff will "let me order first" to see if I'm drinking, or to see what I'm going to eat or drink. Grow up, make a choice.

It's not that they don't want to make a choice, it's that they don't want to be the ones ordering scotch while the boss orders tonic water. It can create a bad impression.

But since you are the senior person then order what you like. However if it's a dinner out then a few bottles of various wines usually goes over just fine.

Vodka with a splash of balls, since apparently thats what bar tenders like to serve these days if you ask for anything more complicated.

That really got you worked up, huh? Let's keep the squabble over here so we don't keep hijacking the other thread, shall we? This one's already been trashed ten times over.

You seem very angry over this whole ballsack thing. Anything you want to discuss? The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

I usually start with a club soda with a twist then move to wine when I'm done. That way I'm a drink behind everyone else.

And how are you doing that exactly? Sincere question.

I don’t think I’m the one coming across as irrational and delusional. Is it bothering you that much that you had to take a mild public spanking from a bartender? Quite frankly, your retorts are rather anemic so I suggest you step up your game because I am tiring of this out of boredom.
