I am not saying that the teacher policies should apply to the Obamas or the Fentys I think they should be able to go wherever they want. But if I am reading the previous posts correctly and we want everyone to be treated the same then teachers should lose their ability to take slots that should go to those who have gone through the process and procedures outlined by DCPS.

There may literally be no high school in the U.S. that would be worse from the Israeli government's perspective. Is this a serious post? Yeah, I'm sure the Israeli cabinet and Knesset spend many, many hours debating how to deal with the scourge of Holton Arms.

Amt Carter didn't go there, by the way. But you are right that the graduation of Julia Louis-Dreyfus put HA on the geopolitical map.

Ummm-- this is crazy. There are tons of very rich Jewish girls at Holton. Wonder Woman's kid went there and is Jewish as are many other super rich Jewish girls there.

Please name a Holton parent or two that is part of the political elite. There aren't any in my daughter's class. I only know of one deputy something or other whose daughter attends.

This quote was to settle the debate about Amy Carter, however, I am a parent at the school and I would never dream of putting that kind of current info on a public forum. Trust me, there have been plenty and there are a few now. They may not be in your DD's class but they are there.

Yes she did go to Stevens but she finished at Holton Arms. Public school was a disaster for her and she eventually went private.

There are several, very prominent mothers at the school -- all in their own right, not just someone's wife or daughter. Now that I think about it, there are probably more prominent mothers than fathers.

As some of us have noted repeatedly, this is simply not true. Amy Carter did not attend Holton. You are just perpetuating an urban myth. Plus, note that Jimmy Carter was long gone from Washington before Amy "finished" school.
