Of course, I did recently lose about 50 pounds, so they are probably reacting to the difference, but it is so funny to see how much more I weigh than others. The thing is, I like myself at this weight. I'm still curvy, look great in clothes, and for the first time in years I don't cringe at myself in pictures!
I also think a lot of it is how you hold your weight, and how muscular you are. I hold weight very well, I have to say. Not that I want to be holding it, but you gotta look on the "plus" side of things sometimes.
That is at least a size 12. Maybe by "tiny" people mean you're short because that certainly isn't a healthy weight for that height.
WOW! You are such an asshole.
Health isn't just about weight. Diet, cholesterol, blood pressure, and cardiovascular fitness are far more important.
Hi - I am the person who is 5'3" - thanks for taking up for me. I followed up my post right after -- I am wearing a 10 on bottom and sometimes an 8 on bottom, and a solid 8 on top, sometimes a small even... When I go to the DR the nurses assume I weigh about 30 pounds less than what I actually weigh, and they always have, even when I was heavy - that's one of the ways I know I hold my weight well.
Health wise-recently had my blood checked and the nurse actually had a shocked expression on her face b/c my numbers were AMAZING. Extremely low triglycerides, great good cholesterol, great bad cholesterol, great fasting blood sugar, textbook blood pressure. I've had a long LONG battle with this weight but never had a problem with anything but my blood pressure - which started to go off the charts for a while there.
It's not like I wouldn't love to be like you ladies here - saying I weigh 113 and I'm "fat" but honestly, I am thrilled being an 8/10. On top of the freaking world about it. If I tried to get to 110s or 120s I'd be gaunt and killing myself to get there.
To all of you out there trying, keep working at it.
