How much do you weigh?

Anonymous
Blah to 16:26. I'm 5'1 and weigh WAY TOO MUCH at 135. If I could get back to 104, I'd be really happy. But, we're trying to have another kid and I can't help but think it'd be wasted effort to kill myself to lose the weight now. Not a healthy attitude but that dessert I had for lunch at Ceiba's wasn't exactly healthy either.

120, one month after DS was born. Used to weigh 100 before DD, who is now 2.5.

I'm only 5'1 so an extra 20 is a lot on my frame. Will work hard to get back to about 105.

Why are we adding in the number of kids we have and their ages?

5'4" and normally 135 and toned. I've been a regular worker-outer for about a decade (weighed 155 for years, then decided to try working out for a year, without looking at the scale. I lost all 20 lbs that year and then just maintained it off via exercise, because I love to eat!).

THAT SAID, I'm 160 now...because I'm in my third trimester I have not been able to really exercise beyond walking because of nausea/fatigue/round ligament pain, so I feel pretty down on myself. However, I know I'm still eating healthy enough for the baby, and I hope my pathetic walking is helping keep baby healthy while mom takes a break for another 2 months!

5'6" 128 lbs. Pre baby (one child) I was 115-120. Went up to 183 with the pregnancy and had to actively lose 45 lbs. Hard! But got it done in a year.

Of course, I did recently lose about 50 pounds, so they are probably reacting to the difference, but it is so funny to see how much more I weigh than others. The thing is, I like myself at this weight. I'm still curvy, look great in clothes, and for the first time in years I don't cringe at myself in pictures!

I also think a lot of it is how you hold your weight, and how muscular you are. I hold weight very well, I have to say. Not that I want to be holding it, but you gotta look on the "plus" side of things sometimes.

That is at least a size 12. Maybe by "tiny" people mean you're short because that certainly isn't a healthy weight for that height.

WOW! You are such an asshole.

Health isn't just about weight. Diet, cholesterol, blood pressure, and cardiovascular fitness are far more important.

I totally believe this is possible, people just hold weight differently based on frame size, too. I'm 5'9 and look "fat" at 135lb, which I was got up to right before DD#1 was born. I'm back to 125lb now which is a much better weight for me. I just have a TINY frame that can't hold extra. And congrats on the 50lb weight loss! I sometimes envy the curvy figure- mine is straight up and down like a teenage boy. If I gain weight, I am just a wider version of myself (doesn't go to boobs or butt, sadly- just everywhere). BUT, I can go braless (a 32A) and don't worry about gaping in button-down shirts, so I've got that going for me.

this is definitely true. I'm 5'6" and have wide shoulders and hips. There's nothing delicate about my bone structure. At any less than about 125 and a size 6 I am down right gaunt. I was 120 once and I hate looking at pictures from that time because I look unhealthy and anorexic.

^^
I agree. I'm 5'5 133 and people think I look anorexic if I drop below 130

I don't even know anymore. I'm guessing around 130 - hopefully not more then that but I've stopped running (trying to get back into it...) so it's possible.

A good weight for me is 115-120 (at that weight, people were saying I looked like I weighed 100-105). And I'm about 5 feet even.

5'4" and 128. Trying desperately to get back to 120, which would be about 4-5 pounds lower than were I was when I got pregnant with my first (I have two kids. The youngest is 5). In my dream world, I'd be 115 and fit. I don't think my mid-40s metabolism is going to let me get there, at least on the weight front. I have been as low as 108 in the last three or so years, but somehow the 40s kicked in with a vengeance, so I don't think I'll see that number ever again. Sigh.
