Gabriella Giffords Assasinated...

I'm not the person to whom you are addressing the question, but I'll be happy to answer it. The Weather Underground in general, and Bill Ayers in particular, tried to avoid injuring anyone. Their targets were property, not people. While it is often said that the Weather Underground planted a bomb that killed a police officer, the crime was never solved and nobody was ever charged. Hence, it's not clear who is responsible for that attack.

Now, compare that to the attack on Giffords. The perpetrator is alleged to have walked up to her and fired point blank into her head. He then opened fire on others in the vicinity. That is a stark difference from the Weather Underground attacks. As such, no rational person would consider them to be equivalent.

Regardless of the ferocity of the attack in Arizona, I fully expect that in forty years it will not be referred to as a "thing". Rather, it will have been completely forgotten. Had it not been for Republican efforts to tarnish Obama via Ayers, few people today would even remember the Weather Underground.

Mr. Steele, you and I obviously aren't in agreement about Mr. Ayers; however, I respect your opinions and the way you articulate them. I also think you have established a great site for people to express their thoughts. Thank you!

Those violent Liberal quotes are much worse than anything I have heard from any conservative spokesmen, columnists or talk radio people.

Why does Biden talk about strangling his political opponents? No republican President or Vice president speaks like this.

Oh, now I see. You are confusing a Fox News interview with evidence. This is why it's hard to listen to you. You talk, and you talk, and then you come up with a fox news interview. This is why you can say with a straight face that Bill Ayers has visited the White House during the Obama administration. If you see something you agree with politically, it is fact.

Mmm, how about your new Speaker of the House?
Boehner suggested that by voting for Obamacare, [Steve] Driehaus “may be a dead man” and “can’t go home to the west side of Cincinnati” because “the Catholics will run him out of town,” Driehaus began receiving death threats, and a right-wing website published directions to his house. Driehaus says he approached Boehner on the floor and confronted him.

“I didn’t think it was funny at all,” Driehaus says. “I’ve got three little kids and a wife. I said to him, ‘John, this is bullshit, and way out of bounds. For you to say something like that is wildly irresponsible.’”

Driehaus is quick to point out that he doesn’t think Boehner meant to urge anyone to violence. “But it’s not about what he intended — it’s about how the least rational person in my district takes it. We run into some crazy people in this line of work.”

Driehaus says Boehner was “taken aback” when confronted on the floor, but never actually said he was sorry: “He said something along the lines of, ‘You know that’s not what I meant.’ But he didn’t apologize.”

First, there appears to be two people talking about Ayers, the panty sniffer that keeps posting Youtube links, and the more respectful person who replied to me above. Second, the panty sniffer probably didn't even listen to the Fox interview because the guy discussed his car getting hit by a Molotov cocktail. There weren't any nail bombs used.

Thank you. I'm glad to have posters with whom I don't agree. There are few things I enjoy more then a good argument.

That sounds like an admission of guilt. Oops.

An admission of closing the gap and finally engaging liberals at their level.

Liberal men hate the smell of a clean/fresh and beautiful women, and like the smell of "stinkey-snorey" men thats one of the reasons their opinions are so straange in other areas as well.

Normal people do not wish to smell their female political leaders. Are you trying to out-crazy Loughner?

Normal men love the smell of ANY attractive female. Women do too. People who smell terrible like President Obama repell other normalhuman beings and are exhibiting a lack of hygiene and lack attention to detail as well as common sense.....and everybody knows it!

No, most people notice or think about the smell of people in their immediate vicinity, and they think a lot about those they date. They do NOT speculate about the smell of politicians who they have no contact with. They do not have oddball theories about how political ideology translates into body odor. And they do not fantasize about female politicians and how they smell. That is nuts.

Tell that to obama's kids. They are the ones complaining about his horrible odor.
