You are not getting who you are dealing with now. He would not get a choice. He would be taken forcibly.

All kids (boys and girls) should be drafted for mandatory civil or military service after HS. Maybe then their parents would vote for leadership that doesn't start wars.

many countries require active military training for everyone, it probably would give a good perspective to everyone

Not countries we aspire to be like though.

The only positive thing about Trump was he said he would not have the US fight other people’s wars. We would not spend billions in wars across the world. He lied.

Only your son? We're in the age of equality, OP. Your daughters would be drafted, too.

We have an administration that is tearing equality down. They would not draft women.

If WWIII comes, it will be a national effort. Everyone will be serving in some capacity. My dad was too young for WWII, so he gathered scrap metal as a child in the neighborhood to support the war effort. My grandfather was too old to serve in WWII, but he ended up taking a job at Dupont for the duration of the war and lived apart from his family. My grandmother had to make due with the government rations of food and make meals for two children.

For all of you rich DCUM folks, it's time to start buying your war bonds and attending charity balls to support the troops.

Certainly wouldn't want to be like Austria, Denmark, or Finland.

Charity balls don't support the troops and how many years have you served?

Good luck getting there.

Neither of those places wants American immigrants. It would be easier to dodge the draft than successfully immigrate.

Honestly, a draft might be the best thing for some of these boys. Get them some conditioning and discipline, and away from their video games.

You spend your time on the internet on DCUM to keep your sanity?

Yes..I just avoid politics & current events completely.
