I think they brought on Christine and Vic in that weird way bc no other couple actually makes it. Maybe it was hard for producers to believe people would be interested in a drama-free, religious couple? From what I am seeing online people care very much and would have liked to see more of them, and I would have as well! Hopefully they learn that lesson for next time. I wish they had spared us Brittany and Devonta: He is just there like a lump and she is so out of his league, yet he cannot see it. Nothing fun about that storyline.

I feel the same way about Bri and Connor. Annoying and boring to watch. I like Emma and Mike individually, but not together. Break up already!!

I wondered if Vic and Christine weren't included in Mexico in part because they're religious and refused to smooch/have any sexy scenes on camera. Agree producers probably underestimated audience interest in seeing a nice, mature couple succeed. Holy cow, their kids would be gorgeous.

Yes, but I feel like with him it is transparent: he has zero ability to hide who he is. His body language and words give him away constantly. It actually is sad and sometimes it looks like Ashley is almost pitying him and laughing at him the way her dad was in his post meet interview. Chris is much, much more dangerous because he seems like Mr Nice Guy but is manipulative and thrives in negging women.

I read that a few people thought he was just trying to neg jess, especially once he saw her big ass beautiful house. He felt emasculated and like he couldn't measure up, so he went full on ripping her to shreds on whatever he could.

I don't know if it was the house, but maybe. I thought it might be when he went out with friends after they got back, and just realized he wanted to continue to have options. With younger/fitter women he met at bars, maybe.

Yeah, I don't recall seeing such a sudden about-face before. It was usually more like Devonta and Alex, where everyone knew the attraction wasn't really there.

I'm not worried about Jessica. She's a catch. I see her with a 40-something more successful guy who either had kids or doesn't want them either. Chris will end up with someone mediocre and basic like himself.

I would give him a pass if he simply wasn't attracted to her and there was no chemistry, but this is what makes him skeevy.

LOL, Christine and Vic are existing in some parallel universe. I don't really have a feel for what's going on but they seem happy? They're on the private version of LIB.

Alex is so weird and messed up that I actually feel sorry for him. He's completely at sea and has no idea what he's doing. Just keeps talking and it's desperate. I have a bad feeling about his future. There is no way they stay together.

Agree Devonte seems underwhelmed.

Chris is just despicable. He needs a George Amberson comeuppance real soon.

Bri and Connor have grown on me. I think they are a good couple.

Vic was actually based in DC for a while... I worked with him when he was here and he is exactly the same person as he is portrayed on the show. Last I had heard before he was on the show, he was engaged, so something must have happened there and surprised it never came up on the show.

I can't imagine any of them getting married other than Christine and Vic, *possibly* Amber and Jordan but my guess is they extend the engagement due to a kid being involved.

If she wanted kids, I'd be worried. Since she doesn't, I feel very confident she will find her person in the coming years.

I agree that the about-face doesn't make a lot of sense. It was very sudden, no hint of problems in Mexico right? It could even be something like his friends negging him about her age. Or he freaked out at the prospect of meeting each other's families? However it happened it does seem he decided he wants someone younger and 'fitter.' I feel so sorry for her, feeling happy and confident in the relationship until he suddenly turned on a dime.
