I agree that the about-face doesn't make a lot of sense. It was very sudden, no hint of problems in Mexico right? It could even be something like his friends negging him about her age. Or he freaked out at the prospect of meeting each other's families? However it happened it does seem he decided he wants someone younger and 'fitter.' I feel so sorry for her, feeling happy and confident in the relationship until he suddenly turned on a dime.[/quote]
