Emma & Mike
I really like Emma. I love listening to her talk, she is so eloquent and well spoken. I can't believe she turned down the dude who was so/so on kids AND willing for adoption. She was really irresponsible IMO to choose a man who desperately wants kids. Same to Mike, he shouldn't have chosen someone on the fence when he says he's so sure. I actually liked his family, and I think they brought up great questions. These are fundamental differences that dont just work themselves out in a few weeks.

I like both of them. Just normal, stable, boring. I hope they make it.

Amber & Jordan
I like both of them. I love Amber for being a girls girl. I cant imagine dating with a child let alone going on this kind of show with a child, so I'm sure it's tough on her. Idk how you can marry someone without meeting their kid though. Jordan is kind of meh, but he seems to really like her. Going from not wanting kids to being a stepdad is a huge change. Idk.

Bri & Conner
I like both of them. I disagree with some pps' view of Bri. I do think she was a bit condescending about the frat house, but like, it was kind of gross lol. Yes, she was entertaining the convo at the bar too long, but I'm assuming they were all chatting a lot, all night. So they edited hours of footage into this blurb that looked like she was just hanging around. She said in mexico that everyone/thing felt so shallow after being so deep and vulnerable with these people. Connor was thinking that she wasn't "over" the other people, but I think she just needed some closure on the emotional side of the experiment. Connor, I hope his insecurities don't get in the way. He seems to shut down instead of communicating. It's weird to see Bri talking about "omg Chris texted me this" and showing the girls, and then you see Connor just go up and hug this guy? He's clearly aware of what's happening, so I don't get the pretend buddy buddy schtick.

Jessica & Chris
Same goes for Chris above. Again, feeling very shallow and fake by hugging the dude who you are making fun of and trying to steal his girl. Jessica is just an overall badass. Love her. Chris just doesn't deserve much thought. He's a loser AH. Are short men more likely to be red pilled? Idk. Also his comment to Bri - "when I saw you I knew I'd made a mistake, because you are a woman I'd propose to" or whatever. Does he know what show hes on? Love is BLIND? Just shows how shallow and superficial he is.

Ashley & Alex
I don't think they will make it. Their fights are so dumb and trivial. They can't discuss anything like normal people. Why is he freaking out over water bottles being rearranged? It was so weird to hear him tell the story of his dad constantly moving, having multiple families. Then his mom constantly on the move. Then him on the move. I'm no psychologist, but it sounds like he has abandonment issues and over compensates by being the one to leave. His dating history is also a little sketchy and unclear. I don't think Ashley got the full truth. Ashley also just seems really immature. I'm also not convinced about his job. He's like "yeah I can get a job anywhere" and then talks about how he worked at a gym, on a fishing boat, etc doing all this random crap. Idk how much his settlement or inheritance or whatever was, but it seems like he's a "nomad" who lives pay check to pay check, cobbling together whatever few PT jobs he can.

Brittany & Devo
I love brittany and I hate devo. He looks mixed but he keeps talking about her ethnicity. He shuts down instead of communicating. He pouted when he wasn't getting sex. He turned her asking for comfort/validation into an attack on her. I hated how welcoming her family was to him because I don't think he deserves it. I don't even think he likes her very much.

This is a bit of a side tangent, but seeing some of the women on this show begging for attraction is so sad. Like Brittany and Ashley are complete opposites, easily 10s in their own categories. Yet, both of their partners seem to want the other! Alex keeps b****ing that he wants the brown eyed brunette, and Devo talking about how he usually dates white girls. So annoying that they've got these gorgeous girls and they are feeling like they aren't enough.

They are almost all recruited to the show, even Vic said someone reached out on Linked In.

Holy cow Alex is a nutcase. He presents himself as a very confident guy who knows what he wants, but the second he can't control the situation... he seems like he's going to have some massive emotional breakdown.

Seems like a typical Trumper dude who acts like what he thinks a "man" is, but hasn't dealt with his trauma at all. He should never, never have kids without massive amounts of therapy.

Yes, but I feel like with him it is transparent: he has zero ability to hide who he is. His body language and words give him away constantly. It actually is sad and sometimes it looks like Ashley is almost pitying him and laughing at him the way her dad was in his post meet interview. Chris is much, much more dangerous because he seems like Mr Nice Guy but is manipulative and thrives in negging women.

I read that a few people thought he was just trying to neg jess, especially once he saw her big ass beautiful house. He felt emasculated and like he couldn't measure up, so he went full on ripping her to shreds on whatever he could.

All of these people are regular looking. There is nothing wrong with it, this is how most people look. I think some average people have a problem that their dating pool is also average.

Anyway, in our experience, despite all the love in the world, there are complex identity and medical issues that come up for children adopted from other countries/cultures and with different skin colors than the rest of the family.

I’m not sure why doing the 23 and me genetic medical testing is not being discussed. You can opt to keep all the results private and they give very specific detailed info on predispositions to many different conditions such as cancer, diabetes, auto immune disorders and more, as well as whether people getting tested are carrying the genes for various genetic disorders. This helped our daughter and her doctor to navigate medical decisions more clearly.

Maybe she is apprehensive about what it will reveal, or doesn't want to open the door to finding her bio parents by doing it...It's really her personal choice and not something she needs to discuss with her fiance she's obviously going to dump or his rude family.

Not to mention, I would never trust private genetic testing. They can sell your info anywhere. Is it 23 and Me that is already a mess because they went bankrupt?

And anyway, what if genetic testing finds something serious? Then, her fiancé is going to dump her because she solidified that she doesn’t want kids? No way.

It’s sort of stupid anyway, lots of couples think they will have kids and then have fertility issues etc. Sure, some get divorced for that reason, but many others readjust expectations and stay with the person they fell in love with.

If you opt out of using your bio sample for research and genetic relatives plus keep a secure pass word, it seems to be safe. It certainly gave our adopted daughter more peace of mind to know what she is genetically predisposed to. Those of us who grew up surrounded by biological family tend to take for granted the reassurance of knowing your family Medical history.

Anyway, I like Emma and found her thoughtful, funny and honest.

I'm still in the process of catching up but I'm so surprised to read about Chris's behavior. He seemed completely infatuated in Mexico. It's one thing to say the relationship just didn't work in the real world but to be that cruel, wow. Agree it must come from a place of deep-seated insecurity, but it's horrible.

I think they brought on Christine and Vic in that weird way bc no other couple actually makes it. Maybe it was hard for producers to believe people would be interested in a drama-free, religious couple? From what I am seeing online people care very much and would have liked to see more of them, and I would have as well! Hopefully they learn that lesson for next time. I wish they had spared us Brittany and Devonta: He is just there like a lump and she is so out of his league, yet he cannot see it. Nothing fun about that storyline.
