Does anyone know when the acceptances for Jefferson Cup (boys showcase) are posted?

I miss Anthony travel. The selection stinks and the tournament should be ashamed of themselves for this markup- $45 a night more than if we just booked on our own at the same hotel.

Teams have been booking rooms for weeks, whoever you had coordinating this was asleep at the wheel. Parents booked the closest and best places right away, good team admins move quickly to coordinate team parents to book same hotel too so kids can hangout and coaches have access to the entire team

Our team manager didn't have ta link to book until yesterday after noon. The tournament website had the hotel links blocked. So I'm not sure how people did this but I would like to know for next year.

The link comes with the email that your team has been accepted. Some teams have gotten emails from weeks ago.

Teams are not accepted all at once. What the tournament director doesn’t tell you is that there are favored clubs that receive their acceptances before anyone else. They are able to book choice hotels before other teams. It’s BS!

The rooming blocks for boys showcase expire on the 18th so I think if you check again first thing on the 19th, some inventory will be released.

If by “favored” you mean the higher ranked teams likely get selected first then I agree. Certainly some teams are on the “standby” list if there are openings to fill different level brackets

A lot of those teams are also coming from all over the country so it makes sense they get some priority after flying/driving a very long way.
