For the boys showcase, they just sent an email saying acceptances/rejects will be posted by Tuesday.

Teams grab rooms they don't end up using, and those rooms will get released and be available at the end of their booking window. I emailed the travel company for an earlier Jefferson Cup weekend. They let me know the dates rooms would be released at the hotel our team was looking at, and I was able to grab them then. |

If they want people to stay to play, they need to reserve more room blocks.
Personally, if a conveniently located clean hotel is not available thru their travel agency, they haven't held up their end of the deal and teams should feel free to book independently. |

It depends on which field you are at b/c some are in crappy areas without hotels. Anything our team manager booked within a 20 minute drive I would be OK with. |
