Just amazing how valuable the h1b program is for getting skill talent

I don't understand the point of this post. We DO have a nationwide teacher shortage.

No we do NOT have a shortage

This is a nonsense statement without adding the qualifier of wages and benefits

We have a shortage of workers willing to teach for peanuts with few benefits.

Raise the salaries and you will find workers

Why is that so hard to understand?

So, you want to have your taxes raised to get more real American teachers to take the jobs for more pay?

YES!!!! that is what should happen.

when did it become ethical to replace your own neighbor with a cheap guest worker from half way around the planet???

but people like you don't care. you have built entire industries on the ability to exploit desperate people , without health care.

It’s almost like saying that an economy can’t survive without illegal & low or no cost labor to farm the land.
You know who else used that argument?
The Confederacy during the Civil War.
Let that sink in.

LOL, which party gave tax breaks, especially to the rich? Hm.. lemme think about this for a good nanosecond. LOL

Discipline is a huge problem. Also, why has the special ed budget ballooned over the past 20 years?

? that's happened all over the country, even in districts that have low numbers of illegal immigrants.

Source of most of our h1bs

It is not about the priority boarding system, but moving between gates.

got it.

it is ok for Indians to abuse the system, they need to get to the next gate quickly.

I support policies, not personalities. Trump is a demented fool. But H1-B guy loves him for some reason,

Probably, because of the 100k per new H1b fee.

Which Trump can revoke he sees fit. Trump calling balls and strikes. Here I thought the GOP wanted govt to get out of the way of private businesses.

Trump said we need foreign workers, though, because we don't have the talent in this country. Gotta love that, too.

lol good luck with that.

It's too bad that bill wasn't sponsored when Melania came on an H1b, and also when she brought her entire family on a chain migration.

I love this 100K fee, but it won't be implemented, not by this administration . Corruption that's been going on for 2 decades isn't just going to stop tomorrow. there is no political force that's going to fix this. Good luck, American grads to try to get foot int the door to the high paying professions. And good luck middle aged more expensive workers getting laid off. Learn trades, don't go to college, you can be a 6 figure plumber or electrician. Just drop out of HS, why not, what's the point of even finishing HS. This is the message we are giving to our kids while continuing to import foreign workers giving them open door to the higher paying white collar jobs.

This shocking video from St. Francis College explains why our American graduates are struggling to find jobs.

Entire graduation hall is filled with Day 1 CPT foreign students from India.
As per ICE, US currently has 505,590 foreign workers on OPT and 140,775 on CPT work visa.

It’s already implemented for new H1b applicants.
We will see how effective it will be.
