2020 was a moment in time. I don't think any professor would do that today. But that dynamic definitely made an impression on every white boy under 20. And they generally revolted from progressives as a result.

Last night in an interview with Andersen Cooper, Galloway said "Have you ever observed a bunch of 15-year-olds? Half the boys are idiots and the girls could be junior senators." Exactly. Girls start lapping the boys so early these days and most boys DON'T CARE, they just want to play video games and hang with their bros and don't care about school. They have zero ambition. Some care about playing sports. I'm Gen X and when we were teenagers the boys I knew--most of whom were not going to go on to college--definitely cared about getting jobs in high school to pay for cars, having girlfriends, making plans, etc. Nowadays you can't get a teenage boy out of his room.

PP how old are you? I am an early 50s woman who also benefited greatly from white male mentors. But this is because that’s who mainly was in power and in a position to be a mentor at that time. The few women who were senior in my field then were too busy busting their butts to try to prove themselves to be able to mentor anyone.

Because I think overly concerned mothers are a HUGE part of why boys/young men are struggling in the first place.

I've known SO many men whose mothers coddle them and protect them from the consequences of their actions, even in adulthood. One 40 year old man I knew had his mother pay for everything - his rent, food, etc - because he was too "depressed" to work! I've seen moms pay for bail and attorneys when their adult sons got DUIs, side with their sons when they beat their own wives and children.....my former MIL used to tell my xH that I was a bad wife because I didn't "take care of him" by cooking and cleaning for him every night (even though I worked full time and paid 70% of our bills!).

Too many moms don't want their sons to be MEN, they want them to be babies. And too many fathers don't stand up and teach their sons to be men, they don't want to be bothered.
